I’m from the Central Valley and was in the city for the day for work and I googled massages nearby while on my lunch break and so happy I found Jay!thankfully he was ready and available! I had stiff neck and was in so much pain especially after the long drive up. I felt so much better after 30 mins! His technique is exactly what I needed! His place is clean and the vibes were just right! Thanks again Jay! If you’re working in the FIDI area I highly recommend you go during your lunch time! Your body will thank you!

10/10!!! My deep tissue massage with JV was absolutely wonderful! He is SO kind, informative, and extremely skilled at what he does- and practices in such a clean, calm, comfortable space. I have HORRIBLE posture from working with young children for the past several years, & have recently been dealing with the worst neck/ back pain as it’s started to catch up with me; a singular session with JV loosened me up in a way I haven’t felt in so long. I am SO grateful I found him, and I’m so excited for my future sessions. I cannot thank him enough!

Really awesome massage! My concern when I went in today was shoulders and legs — they are always stiff from sitting all day (and maybe due to some bad posture as well!). A 90 minute massage with JV was exactly what I needed. It not only felt relaxing but it felt very effective in releasing tension in those muscles. I will definitely be back!-Andrew M

Jonathan is one of the best masseurs I've worked with, from all over the world, for a therapeutic/deep tissue massage. He has expertise and skill in the body/musculature and approaches his clients with a deep understanding of what their bodies need. Whether you are highly active or sedentary, Jonathan is highly recommended for regular maintenance.

This was an amazing massage! Jonathan made sure that I was very comfortable and asked if I had any issues with my body. I told him my lower back was hurting and he noted that down. His apartment was very clean, tidy, and inviting.

Now for the massage!
He asked for the amount of pressure and demonstrated each pressure on my back. Very thorough, worked out the knots in my shoulders and helped me with my lower back. 10/10, I really enjoyed his bodywork.

After the massage:
Offered a shower, and gave recommendations on how to prevent aches and pains.

Final verdict:
I enjoyed going to Jonathan for his body work, professional, responsive, and attentive. Looking forward for my next one.

It’s my second appointment with Jonathan- because his overall energy is amazing, kind, and intuitive. His strength and varying pressure throughout the massage are soothing and certain to leave you blissfully energized. Plus he’s an all around good person. I highly recommend Jv's Bodywork.

As a working mom of 2, I tend to carry a LOT of tension in my body. I see Jay at least once a month to rejuvenate! He is well trained and offers a caring and healing abilities through his skills. He is warm and has positive energy. His space is so relaxing and conveniently located in the heart of SF. He customizes the treatment based on my body’s need. Best massage ever! I’m not really into massage until my friend recommended Jonathan. He is highly recommended so I thought why not give him a try. As a full time employee, and a mother of two toddlers, my shoulders and back are my main concern. After an hour massage with him, I instantly felt way better. All my knots are gone! He is very professional and will make sure to ask which area you want him to focus. He will also give you tips on how to avoid straining your muscles etc. So, ladies and gentlemen, please don’t hesitate to contact him if you’re looking for a good massage therapist.
