Grateful. Alan has amazing hands and techniques. I have had some lower back pain and some issues with sciatica. Alan has masterful techniques in going in deep into my muscles. He began working on my lower back and upper back. I mentioned my lower back and leg pain and he spent a good 30 minutes on my lower back, glutes and legs. He mentioned he has training in Thai Massage as well as Swedish techniques. He opened my legs in a number of different positions so he could continue to go deeper where the muscles insert and apply his forearm and elbow in the meaty part of my glute muscles. I didn't realize my back pain was coming from below my waistline. Alan explained when your legs (hamstrings) are tight and your glutes are tight, you end up with your pelvis being pulled lower all the time. This leads to lower back pain. After I left the appointment, my back really felt amazing, like I was 25 again. I text him and thanked him for his great bodywork. I recommend Alan. He is a trained professional with great knowledge and skill. Happy New Year. I will be back.

I recently had the opportunity to experience massage services by Alan, and I must say, it was a rejuvenating experience that exceeded my expectations.

I requested a deep tissue massage, aimed at relieving tension in my upper and lower back and especially for my glutes and legs. Alan was highly skilled and attentive, taking the time to ask about my specific needs and areas of tension. Alan used grapeseed oil. He said it allowed for deep tissue techniques without pulling hair or sliding. He said the eucalyptus essential oil was added to the grapeseed oil to provide both physical and aromatic benefits. Throughout the massage, Alan checked in with me to ensure that the pressure was just right, which I greatly appreciated.

After the session, I felt an incredible sense of relief and relaxation. My muscles felt less tense, and I had a renewed sense of energy. The following days were equally beneficial, as I noticed an improvement in my overall flexibility and a significant reduction in muscle soreness.

Overall, my experience at Alan’s office in Columbia, Maryland was outstanding. The great location, easy parking, amazing massage, clean and warm massage office (October) made it a top choice for anyone in need of relaxation or muscle relief. I will definitely be returning, and I highly recommend Alan to anyone who needs their muscles really worked on with strong deep touch.

I had the pleasure of meeting Alan here at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Baltimore. He said his office was in Columbia Maryland only 15 minutes away. But I was visiting for an anniversary party and I wanted to treat myself to a late appointment starting at 10 pm. He was punctual and brought his massage table. I can say I've never had such a strong and powerful massage before. He said his training in Thai Massage allows him to do amazing stretches that really opened my joints. He mentioned that the tension in my neck was also related to shoulders complaining. So he had me sit up on the table at the end and stretched my arms wide and he had me interlock my fingers behind my head and stretched my pec muscles as well. Its rare you meet someone with skills like Alan. His draping techniques were what I expect at a spa. He started me face forward and worked on my neck, back, shoulders, arms, hands, buttocks, legs and feet. And then rotated and worked on my chest, arms, shoulders, abdomen legs and did amazing stretches with my knees pushed to my chest. I never met anyone with this level of skills. He mentioned he may have "borrowed" some great moves from hundreds of massage therapists when he gets massages. I was glad to feel stretched, relaxed and happy when he left. Thanks Alan. Alan is impressive. He has strong hands and he is skilled in using his elbows, palms and forearms. This was my first time his office in Columbia Maryland. I saw him last time at his Silver Spring Office. His office is professional. Alan is a charming talented massage therapist. His massage included long strong strokes . He focused the first half of the massage on my neck, shoulders, buttocks and legs. At one point he got on the table and used his body to do strong pressure on my glutes back and upper back. He finished the first half of this awesome session doing long strokes from my ankles, all across my body to my neck and hands. Its amazing. The music in the background was beautiful piano with sounds of nature. I really like it.
When facing up, he did great massage on my chest and abdomen, arms and hands. He finished my full body massage with stretches of my legs to my chest and opened my legs above my head. He mentioned that opening your tight legs leads to lower back relief. I texted Alan when I got home. My back has never felt better. I recommend Alan to anyone in the Washington DC / Baltimore area. Schedule him in Columbia Maryland or go visit his Silver Spring office. I can't remember a better massage. He is the best.

Wow. Me and my partner contacted Alan before he arrived in Telluride to set up a massage appointment. Alan brought his massage face-rest, massage oils and speaker. He was so professional. Originally it was supposed to be a 90 minute session for just me. But Alan was kind enough to do 1 hour for me and an hour for my partner at no extra charge. What was amazing is we have had masseurs from all over the world. We are skiers and world travelers. We come to Telluride once every year. He is by far the best massage therapist we have ever encountered. He is not only strong and I'm only saying it because its true, quite handsome., but he used deep tissue techniques on shoulders and neck.. He used his elbow and forearm on my glutes and legs. Where did you learn to stretch my legs like that? Ok and your final move of pushing my knees to chest and having me lift my back up multiple times was amazing. He said its all about the stretching. Exceptional. I am so lucky to find Alan. I live in Washington DC and Alan's location in Wheaton Maryland was so easy to get to. And Parking!! His office is a beautiful room in his home with a bathroom to shower afterwards. Alan is a talented massage therapist who gives the most connective massage I've ever received. I really needed deep work on my lower back. He has a knack for working both my lower back, butt and legs and spending a great deal of time on them. I've never met such a charming masseur. He did some great stretches that really opened my back. I would definitely recommend him. His 90 minute session is really worth every penny. I plan to visit him again soon. Thanks Alan.

Amazing! Its your vibe. You give off great energy. Love your ability to effortlessly glide across my body. What type of oil is that? Its not oily and my skin feels great. Yes grapeseed oil. Its amazing. I have had many massages in my life. I workout, run and play Volleyball. My legs are always tight and my glutes need work. You seem to know exactly where to go to work them out. I don't usually write such a long review, but you have an amazing touch. I really enjoyed meeting you and I will recommend you to my guys on my gay volleyball team here in Washington DC. Wow. Alan came to my suite and set up his table. My lower back and glutes were giving me some serious issues. I had just flown from California and checked in . Alan set up his music and made me feel very comfortable. His touch was strong and deep on my back and buttocks and legs. I've never had such a connective massage. This was a 2 hour massage that made me disappear into a relaxed soothing state of mind. I remember some stretches that he did where I brought my knees to my chest and this really opened my back muscles. At the end of the masssage he recommended some great moves to open up my neck and back. He left me feeling I really got my moneys worth. Great masseur. I will always call him when I am in town. Alan is incredible. I have never had a massage before. He explained to me the types of techniques he uses and how he approaches draping and modesty. The massage pressure was strong and his technique was incredibly connective. 10 minutes into the massage i started to doze off but I felt safe and felt amazing. His studio is a private separate dwelling from a very impressive home. The layout was professional and he was an amazing experienced massage professional. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants a real massage with a focus on back , buttocks and legs. He is a true expert at his craft of massage.
