Massage Therapy by Corey

I chose Corey because of his testimonials and how far they go back. I thought to myself, "this guy is obviously doing something right to last this long on this site." My intuition was correct, Corey is a keeper for sure. I’m a 52 year old guy who has 52 year-old aches and pains. Nothing crazy, but it needs a solid, expert-level care to alleviate some of my discomforts. Corey is altogether amazing. His home is in a very nice area, and his massage studio is intentionally appointed and comfortable, with good tools to relieve the body and loosen things up. I’ve had hundreds of massages (many of them excellent) and Corey is definitely a stand-out. He really connects with the body, and has an incredible rhythm. His intuition is on point, and goes deep without being harsh at all. We had a lovely chat before and after, never felt rushed, and I left with my body being relaxed, but rejuvenated. I’m so glad I looked him up and hope our paths cross again in this lifetime. What a treat. Thank you Corey

Corey is talented at massage to say the least. Trust is a big issue with me and even though I traveled to him the first time, I would have him do massage at my home without hesitation. I liked that he has his massage license number posted - that put me at ease and made me feel like he could actually help with my sore back. Extremely nice guy, very confident hands and I left feeling better the entire weekend. Go see Corey.

I have traveled the world extensively and have received literally thousands of massages. Corey is among the top tier. His home and studio are perfection. He stays focused throughout the session. An extremely kind, caring and compassionate soul. He has a unique style of massage that I have never come across before. I would highly recommend.

Had the pleasure to meet Corey yesterday after a long run in preparation for the Boston Marathon. I found Corey to be friendly and professional. Very comfortable and well- appointed studio.
The massage was top quality, incorporating a perfect balance of pressure and technique. All of this was topped off with intermittent use of various ointments, which resulted in an experience that was both therapeutic and relaxing.

I dance professionally and travel the country with Cirque du Soleil. I have been to MANY massage therapists over the years and I would consider Corey to be among the top tier as far as skill level. His studio is incredible - very professional in terms of his work and an extremely caring and kind person. Immediately felt at ease and left feeling like I could get through another week of performances - would highly recommend for a professional massage to any of my colleagues at Cirque Du Soleil.

Absolutely therapeutic in every way, Corey has obviously been formally trained and know's how to give a professional massage. He was easy to work with when trying to schedule and followed up with me very quickly. He did his best to fit me in even though I know he stay's very busy so I really appreciated that. His studio set up is the best I've seen with a private entrance off his house specifically for massage. His studio is surrounded by trees on the side of a hill and it's located it a beautiful upscale area. The attached bathroom also makes it convenient. Everything about the experience was quality and I left feeling MUCH MUCH better! Thanks again Corey.

I am a traveling musician and I am usually looking for a massage when I am in a new city for more than one night. After reading Corey's profile, I decided he would be a great fit, as I have had many deep tissue massages and with my problem areas being so pinpointed, I figured his background as a physical trainer would be beneficial in getting the most out of a massage. He was able to schedule me within my time constraints, and even confirmed the appointment a day before. When I arrived, he met me with a smile and took me to his studio. He is a very happy and positive person, so I was completely at ease immediately. Studio was clean and neat, and very relaxing. We talked about my problem areas and where I would like for him to focus. I was probably a bit more detailed than he was used to, but he took it all in stride. Once we got started, it was clear he knew exactly what he was doing. He was also able to try a couple techniques that he had not before to work out a specific problem I had. He was a great conversationalist, and we chatted throughout. I let him know when pressure needed to adjusted and he was very attentive throughout, always asking how things felt. If i am able to come back to Portland, I would seek him out for another appointment.

Corey did excellent deep tissue work on difficult painful tense areas in my back, neck and legs.. He used heated pads to complement his massage work. Results were minimal discomfort after a rigorous deep tissue massage. He is worth every penny. Thanks for making me feel normal and pain free again. Results for me are everything and he is way ahead of many therapists that I have tried for getting results. I keep his number and call on him often.

Corey is an outstanding massage therapist. He has a serene and relaxing studio with a heated table and air conditioning. I was impressed by the skill level he demonstrated and the variety of techniques used. He was eager to learn more about my specific tension areas. He dove right into my sore points and melted them away. From start to finish just a wonderful experience. Hope to be back soon.

Corey is quite the gentleman. He was quick to respond and accept my request to book with him with short notice. He had a massage room ready and stocked with clean linens and towels as well as a heated table and A/C on a hot day.

At first touch I knew this guy has great technical skills. The hurt was so good and soothing that I almost fell asleep a few times.

I went to Corey for a massage after experiencing sore muscles from a session with my personal trainer. No need to tell him where I hurt. He found all the knots, loosened tight muscles, and I left feeling a whole lot better. If you want a masseur who knows what he's doing and delivers great bodywork, book an appointment. .

I contacted Corey and I found him to be very accommodating in working with my schedule. He is very friendly and positive in his massage approach with just the right amount of pressure. He checks in frequently to make sure the pressure is just right. Very professional masseur and approachable. I would recommend you give him a try.

Corey is a sweet guy, I enjoyed chatting with him afterward, which was helpful because my legs were a bit like jelly after the massage! He has a very comfortable heated table and uses heating pads to keep you warm (because the room is on the cold side) as well as to relax the muscles. He has quite the range of touch, from deep to very light and pleasurable. I told him about a few problem areas, and he was really good at working them out.

What everyone says about Corey and his massage is totally accurate! From the moment you enter his studio to the minute you leave, his entire focus is on you. He uses a number of techniques and styles to work through those sore muscles and knots. He knows the muscle structure well and uses that knowledge to get into those problem areas with very focused intensity with both deep intense pressure and relaxing light pressure. I’m ALWAYS sore but when I left Corey’s table I have to say I felt rejuvenated and even more so the next day. In addition to all this Corey is a great guy, easy to talk to and listens to you.
