Customized Massage by Rob

I've only been going to see Rob for a short while so far but, it's soo worth it! I'm a middle aged guy who works full-time remote and not as active as I could be. I decided it was time to see a professional and am I glad that I did!
Rob's great, very polite, courteous and professional. He's got great hands and after about 5 min into the massage, he figured out what knots and kinks I had without me having to say anything. It's such a wonderful feeling when he's done and knowing that he can recharge me a couple weeks later! If you're like me and have any doubts or procrastinate....bite the bullet and reach out to him! You'll be glad you did!! He's really great, easy to talk to and attentative the whole time. He has a nice, clean and relaxing studio and he's very talented and a overall a great find!

I worked with rob for over 7 years before he left Florida When I first met him I was 71, struggled with high blood pressure, and some very bad chronic pain in my back and neck from years working in construction. It made me intensely depressed as I wasn’t able to do a lot of things I used to that got me out of the house. I really wanted to be able to play tennis and golf again. I found Rob on masseurfinder back in 2017. I hesitated for awhile because honestly I wasn’t sure about a massage therapist on a site like that, and i had been to other masseurs who never really helped my conditions. About a month after, a friend of mine ironically recommended Rob to me. So I booked an appointment at his office. His demeanor and appearance were of a consummate professional. He greeted me and conducted a detailed medical background and we sat for a few minutes as he asked me this and that about my issues. I will say he never once promised he could cure me of anything or made guarantees. I had booked a 60 minute session, but about 20 minutes in I decided to extend to 90, which he graciously obliged. The session overall was exceptional. He claimed to have been in the field for 10 years and it showed. He effortlessly shuffled from this feather stroking to deep rigorous pressures in a way I’ve never experienced with another massage therapist. It was simply the best massage i have ever received. He didn’t try to sell me any nonsense upgrades, didn’t charge extra for anything or try to push products of any kind. His office was simple, utilitarian would be the right word and to the point. The aroma therapy he used was subtle and utilized explicitly for initial relaxation and to wake me up at the end. Afterwards, I got off the table and I swear to you, my back and neck which had plagued me for years, simply did not hurt. I was able to turn my neck and twist my back fully which I hadn’t been able to do in three years without straining. He did advise me there would be soreness the next few days, and there was. But I had received really hard massages before that left me in pain and never relieved me. But with this one, I had lasting relief. I booked him twice a month after that and was able to start back into my sports, and my hobbies again. My high blood pressure resolved itself, which my doctor attributes to the lack of chronic pain. I really cannot recommend rob enough to someone in chronic pain. He will not sell you snake oil or false hopes, his technique is not a spa day, he really is a medical grade massage therapist and if he can help you resolve your issues he will.

I have been meaning to write a review for rob on here for along time but never got around to it, and I just had a massage with him so I thought I'd write it before I forget, so forgive the lengthy retort. I have been working with Rob for over 3 years now and he is the best I've ever worked with. He is not one of those frumpy, frilly spa masseurs, this man knows what he's doing and understands how to heal pain. I have lived with parkinson's and fibro myalgia for well over a decade and I have seen countless Doctors, Chiropractors, Specialists and yes Massage Therapists. And none of them have come remotely close to providing the kind of pain relief and restoration of function that rob has done from seeing him twice a month. Before I went to him I literally went days without real sleep from the chronic pain i suffered from. Then a friend of mind recommended Rob. When I arrived he greeted me and immeadiately went over my medical history and issues and crafted a long term plan for recovery. Then I got on the table and experienced one of the most complex and relaxing massage i've ever gotten. The man does things with his hands I've never felt before. Every spot of tension and pain he came across he wiped out, constantly reassuring me and checking in with me about how I was tolerating the pain levels, that was a first for me as therpaist before would just poke and press and really hurt me. After the massage he discussed how to proceed forward and then I left. That night was the first time in years I had a nights sleep where i didn't wake up in pain. After 3 years of working with him I have almost no pain anymore and I've gone off a couple perscriptions I had for pain and muscle contraction. I feel truely blessed to have Rob keeping me in such a functional condition. I don't know where id be without him. If your in pain I'd say give rob a try. He really is something special.
