Based in the Los Angeles area, my bodywork practice has delivered advanced therapeutic relief for 15 years.

My practice is non-discriminatory and my personalized sessions are designed for men of all shapes and sizes, with a focus on including gay, bi and questioning clients, seeking muscle work and knot release.

My focus is entirely on the optimal therapeutic results. My method is a synthesis of the structural precision of Deep Tissue's combined with the energetic flow... of Shiatsu, and holistic release work. I employ focused release techniques, assisted stretching, and guided breathwork to specifically target and resolve stubborn knots and chronic tension. I believe bodywork is a vital path to healing, emphasizing treatment of the whole person.

I first contacted James for a deep tissue massage because my upper back was feeling too tight
during my workouts. We scheduled a 60min massage. The environment was welcoming and James was friendly, he asked a few questions about my back and what kind of exercise I usually do. Stephen was right on the spot, applying pressure on the right places and the timing was spot on. I am glad I found someone who understands human anatomy and also has good intuition. Now I will be booking with him on a regular basis

I found James and messaged him about a massage. We made an appointment for the next week. He was nice and cool. His apartment and massage studio were really clean and inviting. He let me shower before (and after). His technique is really different from most other Masseurs and that's a good thing! He actually knows what he is doing. (Most don't) I had been having a lot of issues with my legs and glutes and he worked really hard to relieve all the pain I was experience. Afterwards, I felt like I was floating. He has a really healing touch. I would recommend him to any of my friends.

James arrived right on time. We talked for a few minutes before the massage started. The massage he gave me was great. I didn't know how badly I needed the massage. He helped to remove the pain and muscle tension and helped me relax. He did some breathing exercises with me that I had known through Yoga. I felt 150% better. If he lived in Austin I would def book another massage again.
