Sports Massage by Kevin

I booked a two hour sports deep tissue massage, and it was hands down one of the best bodywork experiences I’ve ever had. The therapist combined firm, precise deep tissue work with flowing techniques that really targeted my sore muscles from training.

What made the session stand out were the thoughtful details. Kevin used CBD oil that melted away tension and inflammation, hot stones that penetrated deep into the muscles for lasting relief, and assisted stretching that opened up tight areas I didn’t even realize needed it. The combination of techniques created the perfect balance between intense therapeutic work and deep relaxation.

Two hours might sound long, but the session was perfectly paced and never felt rushed or repetitive. By the end, I felt completely reset. I felt lighter, looser, and ready to perform at my best again.

Parking was easy to find and he even has a designated parking spot if you don’t immediately find parking on the street. His studio was immaculate and the tone was set for a great massage from the moment I walked in the door.

I decided to treat myself to a massage while in Los Ángeles. I liked Kevin’s ad — the pictures and the text — but I ended up having the kind of transformative experience with him that one can’t plan for, much less expect from a new masseur. I can’t say that I’ve had a better massage.
Kevin’s got the kind of sweet, low-key vibe that sets the ideal tone for surrendering oneself to another person’s hands. The massage itself was so great, I asked for another half hour and then another.
Kevin figured out in an intuitive way that I like the masseur to go as deep as possible. He dug out knots that pushed my limits a couple of times — which is exactly what I want — but he’s masterful at using his other hand as a calming, tender counterpoint. I’m still glowing from the kindness of his touch.
He’s so professional that I’m sure he has a planned and practiced approach, but I experienced his movement around my body as an organic, unpredictable thing. I felt individualized, like he was having a conversation with my body that he wouldn’t have with another one,
In such a long massage, he inevitably returned to some parts that I thought couldn’t feel any better, and he found another way in. I honestly could have gone another hour.
I told Kevin, and I’ll tell him again: at its best there’s nothing better for the mind, body, and soul than massage.

Kevin, I’ve been dealing with the worst back pain for the past year, I’ve had to pretty much stop doing everything I like, rock climbing, running etc. Today is the first morning I woke up pain free. My stress and tension melted away under the care of his strong hands. I observed my breath slow down, each exhale carrying a sigh of relief as I became fully enveloped in the present moment.

The hot stones were ****ing amazing. I got to hold them in my hands at one point. The music helped me get into a spiritual mood. I meditated on the idea that these stones are hot like the energy of the sun: a source of nourishment, light, warmth, and comfort. A source of life itself. I allowed that energy to transfer to my body.

I felt alive.

I asked him what music he was playing because I wanted to be able to remember this night.
