I was introduced to Alejandro “Alex” via a recommendation from my previous massage practitioner who moved away from Nashville, and I am so glad for that recommendation! Alejandro’s studio is beautiful, welcoming, relaxing, and completely surprising in the most wonderful way as the exterior of the building is non-descript in comparison to his beautiful studio. As a new client, Alejandro communicated with me in advance of the session to set the arrival expectations. He met me at the entrance to the building and welcomed me very genuinely and warmly and then gave me a tour of his studio to make me feel comfortable and at ease. Alejandro took time before the massage session to engage with me in a conversation to learn of any problem areas, stressors, and massage pressure preferences, and to share what I could expect of the session, including him explaining how and why he uses a background music change to signal that the session is nearing its conclusion, which I found to be a perfect way to non-verbally convey that the session was nearing completion without using spoken words that could otherwise disturb the peaceful serenity he created throughout the massage. There is a separate, curtained area within the massage room for storing clothing and personal effects, and he had a personalized welcome sign that truly started the feeling of inclusion and relaxation before the massage session even began. The massage table area beyond a curtain separating from the changing area, was a dimly lit, warm, and serene setting that has a very comfortable heated massage table, which was so appreciated. The 90 minutes simply flew by under Alejandro’s skillful hands, and he easily found multiple areas of tension to focus on that left me feeling relaxed, calm, and rejuvenated. I have found my new massage therapist, and I highly recommend his skilled services!
