Overview

As a clinician with a private practice in West Seattle, I offer clinical massage, relaxation massage, and athletic & sports massage.

At The Tea Room Massage & Wellness, I use a combination of touch and energy therapies and modalities to treat trauma to the body, mind, and soul.

As one of the few gay massage therapists who is legally certified in breast and chest massage, I specialize in cancer recovery for men and women, in transgender care for post-top surgery... healing, and in treatment for survivors of assault.

Trained in sports massage, I help athletes prepare for upcoming events or recover from competitions or injuries, both on and off the field, having been on location at the 2025 Gay Softball World Series.

New guests book their first appointment for a 60-minute massage, which includes a complimentary 30-minute consultation with a full-body postural and gait assessment before your session and a complimentary 30-minute post-treatment assessment with conversation about aftercare, treatment plans, and home maintenance.

This is a full-time private practice with professional scheduling software. Along with full name, phone number, and email address, all appointments require intake and consent forms be completed before arrival.

I've had many massages over the years, and never have I had such a thorough beginning to end experience. We started with a relaxing tea and a review of what I was there to experience. The tea was a great way to start relaxing, even before I was on the table. Ben's touch was perfect, and he was able to find the spots that needed additional attention. After the massage was over, we spent time (including tea/water) to create a therapeutic healing plan based on what he found when working on my body. At no time in this experience did I feel rushed — a 60-minute massage with 30 minutes of background and plan management on either side of the actual massage. I look forward to future work with Ben and have already referred people to him. Having him locally to me in West Seattle is an added bonus!
