Stress Relief by Rustin

Everything you’ve read in the other reviews is true, but I still don’t think they fully convey just how remarkable Rustin is. I travel often for work and pleasure, and every time I’m in Atlanta, my first stop after landing is his studio.

He greets me with the same genuine warmth each visit and welcomes me into what he calls his “oasis” — a name that couldn’t be more fitting. The atmosphere immediately helps me leave the stress of travel behind.

What sets Rustin (Rusty to friends!) apart is how attentively he listens and how naturally he seems to understand exactly what my body needs. His expertise, calming presence, and sincere care make every session feel personalized. I always feel completely at ease, and he has an incredible ability to melt away tension, help me relax, and leave me feeling renewed.

Every appointment feels like a true escape. I walk out refreshed, recharged, and ready for whatever lies ahead. Rustin offers far more than an exceptional massage — he creates an experience I genuinely look forward to. At this point, I can’t imagine visiting Atlanta without scheduling time with him.

After hearing about Rustin’s bodywork from several men in our support group, I decided to book an appointment with him. The group I’m part of includes men dealing with anxiety, much of it connected to cancer diagnoses, and everyone spoke about how supportive and healing his sessions are.

I didn’t realize how much tension I was carrying until that day. The moment Rustin welcomed me, I was immediately put at ease, and I could feel the tension start to release. Once I got on the table, all my tension began to vanish.

What stood out was how everything just flowed. Nothing felt routine — it felt like the work was exactly what my body — and honestly every part of me — needed in that moment. His skill comes through in a way that feels effortless and precise.

Rustin — who also goes by Rusty — has big hands and an even bigger heart. There’s a level of care, presence, and intuitive intimacy in his work and communication that creates real trust.

And when I first arrived at his really wonderful studio that is surrounded by his garden he greeted me as if we have been friends forever. He really listed to me and asked me all the right questions about what I wanted from this experience.

He checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable on every level.

The massage itself was heavenly. The way he works is with such present-mindedness. His flow technique made me feel like I was flying and floating. He found every knot and used his special touch to release them all.
It was magical.

Rusty has created an environment that feels like just the right kind of hug. The music, the lighting, the gentle scent, the warm towels, the quality of his equipment, are all perfect.

It was a 25 minute drive from the city and it is worth it. I plan on going back every week or two.
