Therapeutic Massage by Jay

Words cannot really do justice to the unique experience I've had over the last two years going to Jay for a massage. Both at his Park Slope location and now at his Flatbush Ocean Avenue location, Jay has created a space where you immediately feel relaxed and at ease. He is kind, intuitive, professional, and so warm and welcoming. It is easy to communicate and do scheduling by text messaging and every time I go you can tell he's getting to know my body better and customizing what I need for that day.

He is also regularly doing continuing education and you can tell because his technique is evolving. It just always feels like the last session I had is the best one yet and then we do another one and the bar is raised even higher.

It a truly therapeutic and professional massage experience with a balance between deep tissue, pressure points, and also soothing and relaxing strokes on a very comfortable professional massage table (that is wonderfully heated during the colder months), and the experience is never rushed and longer than most massages, (especially if you do the special 95-minute option). I always walk out feeling like meaningful healing work has been done on my body and looking forward to the road ahead. If you become a regular customer he is willing to be creative and flexible in finding affordable ways to set up packages if you are coming once a month or more.
