Intuitive Bodywork by Elijah

I was very pleased to come across Elijah's ad. He met me at the door and showed me to his studio. Everything was spotless and nicely furnished. Elijah has a very comfortable and easy way about him. He is very considerate and asked several times if the pressure was okay. He was very easy to speak to. The session went by way too quickly the massage was amazing. He has a great intuitive touch for massage. I will definitely be making many appointments in the New Year! Thank You Elijah for a great way to finish a stressful year.

I have been seeing Elijah regularly for over 5 months and his massage has made a big difference in my well being. He has created a space that is very comfortable and quiet, and he greets me every time with a warm welcome, taking time to ask how I am doing and what areas need work. He has a very open, easy going personality and once he begins the massage it is apparent he is highly skilled and has a natural ability to zero in on problem areas. I always leave feeling great..

I just received my first massage from Elijah and it was a wonderful experience. I haven't felt this relaxed and rejuvenated in a long time! To begin with, the environment that he creates in his setting is very warm and welcoming. It is immaculate and the decor very inviting. As for the massage itself, Elijah's techniques are masterful. He moves from one part of the body to the other without ever seeming to lose touch of the client. He checked in often with me to ensure that I was doing well and if the pressure was appropriate. To top it off, he has a wonderful personality that is laced with humor and warmth which only added to the experience. I can't wait for my next appointment. I recommend Elijah without reservation. You will not be disappointed for sure!

Elijah’s massage is truly excellent. It has been awhile since I felt as refreshed and relaxed as I felt upon leaving his Portland studio. Not only is he a great masseur but his warm and welcoming personality set the stage for the most enjoyable, satisfying bodywork I could imagine. What a blessing to have such a talented masseur in Maine.

As it turned out, he was was very flexible and attentive to my needs throughout the massage as well. It was just like the other reviewers have written. He is highly skilled, highly motivated, friendly, caring, etc. and it felt wonderful. Elijah's hands are so soft...and yet so strong. They were so sensitive in rooting out knots and making me feel great all over!
I could go on, but the idea is that Elijah is an excellent massage therapist and a seemingly very nice person. Try him...you'll be very happy that you did!

Fantastic massage with Elijah. He knows anatomy and worked on the feet, hands and neck which are usually overlooked or given short time by others. Totally present during the whole massage. Great experience.

If you are fortunate enough to have Elijah's hands working on you, then you will probably walk away from a session with him totally relaxed and stress-free. I have had numerous massages before today and Elijah does a superb job of preparing you for the hour (or more) that you are receiving. He starts out working on your scalp, which only my barber has done and I was already flying. Seriously, this massage therapist knows his subject matter and you would be making a good investment of time and money by utilizing his talents. Elijah reminds you at the beginning that his touch can be adjusted to meet your needs and checks in with you throughout the session to ensure that he is meeting them. The professional table provides more than adequate support and the massage room is tastefully decorated. New Rochelle and environs is fortunate to have this Maine transplant call this area his home.

Where to begin? Everything said by other clients is right on the mark. Elijah is sweet, kind and charming. His massage was perfect and left me feeling relaxed and comfortable. He was very conversational and friendly both before and after the massage, and his apartment/studio is welcoming and comfortable. Parking near his building is convenient and his location is easily accessible to me coming from Yonkers. Elijah will most certainly be seeing me on a regular basis!

I recently booked my first session with Elijah. He is truly gifted massage therapist with a unique touch. He intuitively found the perfect level of pressure to apply to the right places, right away he finding the areas that needed the most relief. He deeply untangled the knots in my shoulders, legs and thighs, and applied a gentle and soothing touch to more sensitive areas in need of attention. So grateful to have found him. It was a satisfying experience in every way, and I have plans to return very soon. I'd recommend him not only to potential clients in the area, but he is definitely worth traveling to.
