Therapeutic Healing by Conor Mac

I have tried almost everyone from this site in the Seattle market and today I tried Conor Mac for the first time. Wow, easy to communicate and schedule with - and his online scheduling system and attention to detail reassured me I was heading in the right direction from previous experiences. I’m in Physical Therapy for sciatica and was seeking immediate massage/body work. This guy delivered, he put me in positions and pressure I didn’t know possible. There’s a lot of guys on here claiming to be legit therapists but I realize today - going with a formally trained therapist is the only way to avoid wasted time and money. I’ll be back for this pro! My sciatic pain is gone!

Conor Mac is a stellar massage therapist. He is very professional, kind, and goes the extra mile to address specific goals or problem areas. In my case, after only one session he managed to relieve me of my lower back pain (better even than some chiropractors I’ve had). Conor uses his excellent knowledge of anatomy and techniques to replace tension with relaxation. I’m definitely going back and telling all of my friends about Conor. If you live in or near Seattle, you NEED TO visit him!

One of the best massages I’ve had. Asked for a deep tissue and the pressure was just right. You know how it is when you go for a deep tissue and you feel your muscles weren’t worked on.. definitely won’t feel that here. My muscles felt they were attended to and the attention to my sports injury and my spine was appreciated. Never felt as relaxed afterwards, like every knot just disappeared in my upper and mid back.
If you want an amazing massage this is where you look! Talk about amazing, did I say amazing? Cuz it was … . Amazing.

Highly recommend Conor if you’re wanting a great relaxing massage. His pressure and strength in his hands are outstanding! I actually went to sleep. With lower back problems, he made sure to use just the right pressure and help relax and take away the soreness. Definitely would use Conor again. You will not be disappointed!

As a runner with hip and lower back issues for years, visiting massage therapist is something I do pretty much everywhere I go.

Conor is the real deal and has the ability not only to understand how to “fix” your body, but to communicate well and instill trust which is very important in his field. He can explain diligently what my body is suffering from and what he is doing to structurally fix it.

His studio is not only spacious and clean, with many amenities, but the location is very central and safe, in a modern building. All in all the atmosphere is great.

I am glad the PNW has now such a great choice!

Conor was able to trace the pain to a muscle deep in my body (left psoas) and used a combination of stretches, breath work, and deep strokes to work through the tension. While planning for a quick trip to Chicago, I realized I would have some down time which could be a perfect opportunity for a massage. I decided to check out some profiles on MF and noticed Conor’s page offering a four-hands massage. Conor was super quick to respond with availability for himself and Scott, who is also a Chicago-based therapist. We settled on a date and time and Conor provided the necessary logistical details. When I arrived, both Conor and Scott were very welcoming and asked the standard questions about health/previous massage history. Their professionalism was top notch. Conor’s studio is beautiful, calming, and the perfect environment for tranquility. The massage was beyond blissful. Throughout the session, both Conor and Scott demonstrated their extensive expertise. Having two therapists working at the same time was bordering on sensory overload, but in an awesome way. My mind was able to give in and stop anticipating the next touch because there were four happening at once. I was in the ultimate state of relaxation. By the end of the amazing experience, I was wishing I had booked 120 minutes instead of 90. Without a doubt, I will reach out to Conor and Scott on my next trip to the Windy City.

I had a massage with Conor a little over a week ago and it was quite the healing experience. Exceptional and central location, immaculate environment, phenomenal music selection and that massage. Conor’s control, strength and dexterity during the duration of the massage is unparalleled. He knows exactly the trouble spots on your body and quite frankly revives your trouble areas.
