A true master of his craft. I have easily gone to over 50 massage therapists over the last 20+ years and I will say Akeem is a candidate for the top spot. I was in town for 4 days to referee at a 3 day sporting event. My upper back and shoulders were already tight. He used my 90 minute session to work wonders on my entire body, but particular attention to my shoulders. He utilized techniques and angles that no one had used before and boy did it work. That was the first time I’ve worked a 3 day event and not have my shoulders and neck be completely sore afterward.

I went back after the tournament and this time he focused on my legs and hips, providing relief from all the standing. Once again, his techniques were creative and beyond effective.

Besides his mastery of the body, his studio is configured to bring pure relaxation throughout the entire session. I will definitely be scheduling ahead of time next time I’m in town.

I’m so glad I decided to try Akeem for a therapeutic massage. He was the epitome of professionalism and his techniques are exceptional. He certainly took care of my aching back. He is extremely respectful and is very intuitive to the pressure needed to bring comfort. I highly recommend him. If you are truly looking for a professional, respectful masseur, he is your man. Akeem is a brilliantly talented Masseur. He has created this little bubble that looks like heaven. But the thing is, his massages feel like heaven. He has such an intuitive touch, and very strong hands. He always just finds the spots that need working out. His massage will lull you into an other-worldly state. I work out a lot and my muscles get very tight. Akeem makes me feel better.

Akeem was absolutely amazing at knowing what kind of massage I needed. I left feeling %100 refreshed and relaxed. His studio is very cool and put you at ease as soon as you walk in! I felt totally comfortable and at home. I had the 90 minute massage with CBD oil and hot stones. I wish it didnt have to end. The stretching towards the end of the massage was the best I’ve ever experienced. I am definitely going back and cannot wait! I first worked with Akeem at Fascia Focus in Richmond, VA 2 years ago while traveling. It was by far the best massage experience I’ve ever had. With chronic back issues I need regular massages. Akeem’s understanding of how the body is connected is head and shoulders above anyone else. Not only is he pleasant to converse with, and his technique effective, but the overall atmosphere that he provides is unique and doesn’t compare with any other. I’ve had two sessions with him here in his new studio in Wilton, and it’s even better than the Richmond location If you want a truly connected and unique massage experience, Akeem is the only one in town.
