My sessions are integral in nature and fuse many different healing styles I have practiced over the last 10 years; massage, Reiki, breathwork + somatic techniques to remind your body of its innate homeostasis and radiance.

I create a safe and grounding container, and together we calm and unwind your nervous system to allow the body's natural intelligence to unlock stored energy. I'm very intuitive and adapt to my client's specific needs.

I've studied Somatics + Dance at Naropa University + Cornish College of the Arts, Reiki at Maha Rose South, Thai Massage in Ko Samui, Thailand, and massage therapy at Maui Academy of Healing Arts.

May 02, 2024 in Seattle, WA (in-studio)

It had been years since I’d treated myself to a massage. Much less an experience. I was terribly nervous as it had been years. I came to stress relief from getting a massage later in life. I decided because of a demanding desk job, I would give myself the luxury. But the problem was that the last good masseur I had used in Seattle moved away after my massage 8 years ago. That changed when I arrived at Matt’s studio. For some reason I was extraordinarily nervous. I couldn’t get comfortable or adjust my uneasy and uncontrollable feeling to it all.

First Matt sat us down to talk about specific bodily injuries, problem areas and concerns I might have. With that out of the way we began the most amazing, peaceful, and intuitive massage I’ve ever been privileged to experience. “Experience” being the operative word. Matt provides a warm, welcoming, inviting environment where his skills (see his thorough training) seem to be an extension of his warm, kind, gentile spirit. While massaging away my stress, sore muscles, and cares, he created a unique atmosphere that felt designed for me alone. Whether the massage was based on his talent, or intuition, or a combination of both, his persona mixes with the massage to intertwine the physical and the spiritual.

I could tell you to get yourself an appointment on his calendar immediately. But I won’t be so bold. However, if the picture I’ve painted of my experience isn’t enough, perhaps a sore muscle or urge to be spoiled will inspire you to gift yourself with his skills and human touch.
