The Art of Touch by Nick

Nick gives a phenomenal massage. I get a massage monthly but am traveling so I found Nick, and took a chance on him. Nick established trust quickly through prompt communication and (upon meeting) having an inviting personality and calming space. His massage mixes techniques, which I appreciated. I need the deep tissue for therapeutic benefits, but I liked him mixing in other techniques like stretches, Pai Da, and light touch to balance the deep tissue work out with relaxation and also stimulate blood flow. I also appreciate a therapist who clearly knows muscular anatomy too to get the best experience. When I’m back in the area, I’ll definitely book him again.

This was my second bodywork with Nick. He’s always so flexible with scheduling. His place is always nice and clean. The atmosphere always so relaxing.He never disappoints. He found all the knots. He also did some stretches. I really didn’t want to get off the table. I felt better as soon as left his table. You definitely need to check him out. I know I’ll be coming back for sure .

Nick was a true professional from the moment I booked until I left his comfortable and immaculate studio. He provided great, strong deep tissue massage combined with some stretching and focused on my neck and low back which had been bothering me. He worked with my schedule and made sure he checked in often about pressure and knots that I needed worked out. I will be back!

Wow - you know how, when you have had a great experience, you can’t wait to tell your friends so they can enjoy it as well? Let me say, that is exactly how I felt about my experience with Nick.

Scheduling was very easy, he is very communicative, was patient answering my questions and provided me with that “this is going to be a good massage” feeling before we even met.

His studio is freeway close with easy to find parking steps from his door.

His studio is immaculate, private, warm and very peaceful. He offered use of the restroom before we started. It was also immaculate.

We chatted for a few minutes before I got on the table and that is when and where the massage magic began. His technique flows between light and gentle to deep tissue work. He warms up a muscle group and continually works the group until he feels the tension leave. He provided some assisted stretching to my legs and back to further the massage experience. My back and shoulders are always tight like steel, and he was able to offer some relief.

He chats if you want to chat, otherwise he works with just soothing music accompanying him as he loosens tight muscles.

He does not scrimp on time. I booked 90 minutes and he delivered 90 minutes of bliss.

We talked for a bit after the session as I gathered my whit's and got dressed.

I can genuinely say that I really enjoyed the time I spent with Nick, I left very relaxed and think I not only have a new “regular” guy, but also a new friend.

I plan on seeing him again - hopefully a couple times a month.

I am excited to tell you all that I had my first massage with Nick last night. It was amazing, healing, and restorative. I never write reviews, but I am writing this because I know if any of you are suffering from chronic pain, soreness and tight contracted muscle groups, NICK is the solution to your problems!

I have been bodybuilding for over 20 years. Over time the damaging daily workouts, injuries (disk bulge at L-5, arthritis, and sciatica) and slow healing due to age has left me in a state of constant pain and inflammation.

Nick started out by getting specific details regarding my problem areas. He examined my back for knots and tested my range of motion. Then unlike other massage therapists he began the massage and slowly increased the pressure to release the contractions and myofascia. This made a big difference because of my size most therapist start out with a high level of pressure, because they assume that I can handle the pain, but not taking the time to warm up the muscle before starting the work causes pain and ultimately does not cause the muscle to relax, it just tightens under the increased pressure. Nick gave me a great massage all over and really focused the problem areas on my back and legs.

When we met Nick greeted me with a smile and made me feel comfortable. The studio was super clean and welcoming. I have to admit when I saw what great shape he was in, his muscles and definition, I thought he might be judgmental of me for all years of working out without stretching or warming up properly. He was so understanding. He talked me through the process and allowed me to build trust and confidence in his technique. He was calm and reassuring. Afterwards, I had the most restful sleep i have had in a long time. The massage improved my breathing, my flexibility, and my range of motion. When I woke up the pain and stiffness were still gone. I couldn’t be happier.

I have wasted so much time and money searching for the result I got from Nick in one session. I am adding his massage therapy as a critical part of my overall health plan. It’s pain management, stress reduction and muscle recovery in a 90-minute massage. If you need a massage to reduce your pain and stress schedule a massage session with Nick immediately. You will not be disappointed. He has magic hands and a great personality.

I just had one of the best massages of my life. And when I say BEST I mean it with the bottom of my heart. This guy doesn’t just oil you up and send you home. He truly works on your body, and his new technique is like a work of Art, you must all try him. I haven’t felt this relaxed in quite a while now. I plan on being a regular client, cause there is no need to set myself up with more disappointments with the other Masseurs. I found the best one here in San Diego.

Nico was very prompt in returning my text for a massage. His home studio is in a very nice gated community and is spotless. The massage itself was amazing. Pressure was consistently as requested and Nico checked in frequently to be sure. The stretches and long continuous strokes were awesome. There is nothing tentative in his work and I see that as a sign of experience and skill. It’s two days later I still feel the benefits-face it, almost any massage can feel nice during, his felt great during and long after. Nico himself is a super nice guy too. Very down to earth in conversation, friendly, respectful and very chill. That comes thru his hands while he works. Great experience and I recommend him.

Since I am a dancer, needed a massage which keeps my muscles stretched and supple. Nico used a variety of techniques to accomplished what I needed which I consider injury prevention. The 90 minutes spent was well worth it and think other athletes would benefit from his massage care.

Nico's massage was awesome! Just the right amount of pressure in which he regularly asked if it was OK. I had some pain in my neck and he really got the kinks out. Overall the massage was soothing, therapeutic, and completely relaxing. You can tell Nico knows what he is doing and he is very nice and has a great personality. He also has a very charming place. I will return.

This was my first massage with Nico. He made me feel very welcome and comfortable from the moment I entered his studio. His studio was very clean and inviting. He began by asking me what areas he needed to focus on. After explaining to him that I was feeling discomfort on my right shoulder and neck he knew exactly what to do. He continuously asked me during our session if I was doing ok an and If i was comfortable. I left Nico feeling fantasic and the discomfort in my shoulder was gone. Nico was very courteous through texting of making an appointment and in person. During the massage, he kept checking in with me about the pressure he was applying on my back. I highly recommend him.

I've seen Nico two times now. Both times are by far the best massages I've ever had. His pressure is extra deep (as requested by me) and he periodically checks in to see that I'm comfortable. Aside from being a polite gentleman, he's extremely warm and caring, his place is immaculate! He'll forever be my go-to guy!
