Masterful Massage by Edmund

After a crazy 2020 I started seeing Edmund and I recommend him to any one looking for a massage. He is intelligent, funny, and an overall good guy to be in the presence of. His knowledge and understanding of anatomy and physiology is unparalleled. I am a nurse practitioner and he impresses me every time. Not to mention that he is helping my body heal--I acquired an upper back injury years ago and he is the first person to getting me to having no pain on most days. All I can say is Edmund, you are the best!

I have been enjoying deep tissue massages on a biweekly basis from Edmund for about 4 years now. Before my recent retirement, I had a highly stressful job. Edmund consistently helped to ease the stress by focusing in on areas where my tension affected my physical self. But, perhaps even more important, I have never left his treatments without also experiencing a sense of mental well-being. Perhaps this is reflective of Edmund himself who is not only an excellent technician but also a very caring person. I plan to continue my biweekly treatments with him even though the job stress is gone! It may sound strange if you haven't had Edmund’s massages...but I consider them one of life's necessities.

I am a dance performer so I need a very thorough and knowledgeable masseur. Edmund knew how to fix my body in places I didn't even know I needed. His touch was intuitive and with the atmosphere, the music it all just brought me to another place. My body felt fresh and reborn! Absolutely amazing! I can't say enough good things, you need to try his massage. Will definitely be seeing him again.

I visited Edmund for the first time today, and will definitely be going back. His knowledge of the human body and attentiveness to tension, aches & pains, etc. is second to none. He has created a warm and comfortable massage studio in his home, which gives you the feel of being in a spa. His choice of music adds to the overall experience, and allows you to completely relax. Finding a great massage therapist is never easy and something I've always found takes a lot of trial and error which leads to money wasted. I'm relatively new to the area and was long overdue for a session. I didn't particularly want to go to one of the typical commercial business storefronts because I haven't had the best experience with them. I came across Edmund online and decided to reach out and schedule an appointment. Edmund was able to schedule me an at home session the day of. He is extremely knowledgeable about the body and very experienced. Additionally, Edmund was very respectful to my home and great at catering to my needs by custom tailoring the massage to my liking. I highly recommend Edmund You will not be disappointed.

After months of not having a massage I took the plunge and tried Edmund and I'm not sure I can go anywhere else anymore. I was in need of some serious back and leg work. Edmund was very knowledgable and his skills are off the hook. I left feeling better than I had in a very long time. If you are a long time massage person or new to it you defiantly have to find this guy a try.

Edmund's massage skill and technique in my opinion is the very best in Chicago. I have had a massage or two a month with various massage therapists over several years and I have found no one who compares to the massage I have had with Edmund. His ability to pinpoint areas in need of work is incredible; his ability of getting at deep muscle tension is also incredible. I would recommend Edmund to anyone in need of a massage.

Edmund is seriously the best! I’ve never had a massage done professionally before and he was really understanding and walked me through the whole process. A lot of people don’t usually talk during their massages but we had some great conversation and he is super funny and definitely very talented! I would highly recommend him to anyone – such a great first experience for a New Year Me!!

I immediately felt comfortable, cared for and safe on his table. . . He listens! He takes his cue from you. You get to decide if you need quiet during the session or if you are up for comfortable conversation. Edmund can accommodate either. He checks in with you, asks for feedback and is responsive in his methods of individualizing his care. I have seen him twice now and I can't wait for the next session. A true master of the massage.

I just had one of the best massages in my 20+ years of getting massage. Edmund’s methodical hands and almost psychic ability to find the tension are nothings short of amazing. I tend to have a lot of low back and shoulder pain do to my job but Edmund found it all. Easy to talk to and very knowledgeable you won’t find better.
