On the top of the list of things I wanted to do once I was vaccinated was to get a massage. The past 15 months have been so tense and stressful that my knots had knots. My first appointment with Jomi was exactly what I needed. He found the knots - and even ones I didn't know I had. He knew just what to do - and I've been back twice since. Just an excellent massage therapist and a really good guy. Highly recommended!

Intuitive, attentive, talented and professional! My massages with Jomi was absolutely amazing! His soothing touch is one of those that can’t be learned - either you have it or you don’t - and he has it! Jomi is clearly trained in massage and uses techniques and pressure that you'd expect at a high-end spa. From the first time I met him, I could feel his healing presence, which translates directly into his treatment. I literally cannot wait for my next session with him. Thank you Jomi 😊

I've been going to Jomi for several years now. Every visit has been a positive massage experience to say the least. Jomi is very familiar with my sciatica pain, to the point where I suspect that he has studied the condition. A true professional, Jomi patiently treats the areas in my legs and back that are causing me discomfort. I always leave feeling much better than I arrived. Adding to the experience, Jomi is warm and personable, always making me feel welcome. His studio, in a charming neighborhood in Mt. Pleasant, is also warm and comfortable. I would certainly recommend Jomi to anyone.

The Studio is warm and inviting. Heated table, oils and creams. Jomi used a combination of modalities with a bit of chiropractic technique which left me feeling like I had woken from a long sleep, reinvigorated and at least an inch taller. I had finished with a few weeks of chemotherapy and my posture was being affected and every muscle and joint hurt. The effects of his extraordinary massage and unique technique has lasted for weeks. He is an experienced masseur and has an innate sense of zeroing in on and identifying problem areas. I highly recommend Jomi as he is truly a “Master of the healing Arts.”

I have a stressful job and a daily workout routine, so massage is important to me. I’ve had hundreds over the years, and I can say with confidence that Jomi is one of the very best. His combination of deep + light work is perfection — at times I was consciously breathing through the pain, and other times I literally fell asleep. What really stands out, though, is the combination of techniques and modalities that he incorporates into a 90-minute massage. Everyone combines deep tissue and Swedish, but Jomi adds hot stones, hot towels, aromatherapy and more. I have kind of a “been there, done that” attitude when it comes to massage, but Jomi reminded me just how good the experience can be. In addition to the wonderful technique(s), he’s also extremely present and connected throughout the entire massage. If he worked at a spa, the rate for all this would be at least twice as high, so in addition to being the best masseur in DC, he’s also the best value. Book him, you won’t be sorry.

I tried several masseurs in the DC area and finally settled on Jomi as my guy. He just has that “thing” that only the best masseurs have: when his hands touched me it felt like he was transferring vital energy — almost sacred. It never felt like he was doing a job or performing a routine. He also zeroed in on the knots in my back and really paid attention to the tight spots. His studio is hidden away but warm and inviting. He also has some really nice extras, including warm lotion, hot stones, and hot towels that he uses for foot massages. I always feel completely rejuvenated after a visit.
