Customized Massage by Felix

I’ve been a client of Felix’s for many years. From the first visit many years ago, I knew that Felix had deep expertise in the best practices of massage. That is true today. In fact, Felix’s technical massage skills have only increased because he is always studying new massage techniques. Felix understands human anatomy, particularly muscle movement, and thus provides helpful stretching that no other massage therapist seems to know about. Other benefits of visiting Felix is that his location is a spa. Parking is easy and safe. It is also possible to get a haircut. On many visits, I combine a haircut with a massage. I always look forward to the next appointment.

I have been coming to Felix for more than two years and have had many masseurs over the years. Felix has been the best of the best. He is responsive and accommodating when setting up a session. His massage environment is soothing and peaceful. The salon and spa are immaculate and easy to get to. Felix has a great demeanor and makes you comfortable from the minute you walk in the door. During your massage, he feels where you are tense and uses his strong body to relax those needy muscles. He has a great combination of therapeutic and has some techniques that makes you wanting more. When leaving his care, my body aches are gone and totally relaxed and chilled. I make it part of my routine health regime. I can’t wait for my next monthly session.

Felix is a great massage therapist. He made me feel comfortable immediately upon arrival. He uses deep pressure for his massage, which I’ve needed, but he is also sensitive and reads one’s body very well, adjusting as needed. Most recently, I went to Felix with some tension around my knee. Through his massage, the knee discomfort significantly dissipated. Felix is responsive and accommodating. I’ve had a couple of sessions with Felix and plan to continue seeing Felix whenever I’m in the Waukegan area.

Felix is top notch! He is quick to respond and easy to book. I almost hate to share a review because I’d love to keep his as my little secret! Felix is very nice and calming. His studio is large, clean, comfortable, and warm. Once you give yourself over to his hands you’ll be thankful you did. His massages are amazing - reaching all the right places. It’s clear he knows what he’s doing and he listens to your body. The hot stones and hot towels were icing on the cake. It’s worth the trip to see Felix!

I had one of the best messages of my life with Felix. I have had a lot of massages over the years and several when I travel. This was, by far, superior to most of them. I was visiting Milwaukee this past weekend and booked a massage with Felix. He responded he was available to come to my hotel room that evening and he did not disappoint. Felix showed up professionally with a comfortable massage table, linens and massage cream. He was kind, warm and immediately put me at ease. I knew this was going to be a great 90 minutes and I was right. Felix's touch was perfect and the pressure that he used adjusted with the different areas of my body. He worked my entire body and got to all of the places I needed. I will be seeing him again when I'm in the area and I highly recommend booking with him if you want to be in heaven for 90 minutes!

From his studio to the way he uses his hands, everything about Felix’s massage practice is perfection. His studio is much larger than most massage spaces, which makes a bigger difference than you might think; Felix can move around easily gathering hot stones and towels without bumping into the table. There is a fireplace, dim lighting, and soothing music (good enough that I wish he would make me a mix tape!) The studio is upstairs, so if you have mobility issues, be prepared. My massage (90 minutes) was wonderful. Felix uses wide-sweeping strokes that cover large portions of the body, and at some point, he palmed hot stones that sent radiant heat into my sore muscles. He is sensitive to parts of the body needing special attention and to parts that need none (he stayed away from my bruised rib completely). I am normally not a visitor to Waukegan, but I may have to visit more often now.

From my location I can drive to Chicago or to Waukegan, IL, Felix’s location. Felix provides a relaxing massage with a high level of skill, higher than most Chicago-area therapists can provide. It is a truly professional massage. The location is al spa where you can get a haircut, a facial, etc., in addition to a massage. A huge benefit, in contrast to Chicago, is that there is a free parking lot behind the building. The location, Waukegan, does not have a lot of traffic – so driving there is easier. There are places close by to order drive-in coffee before/after the massage. The entire experience is wonderful.

Just back from seeing Felix. I had my first massage from him a couple of years ago and then covid hit. After the first massage I knew I’d found a partner in health. Now that some normalcy is returning I contacted Feliix to re-engage. It’s been a long two years wait but today was 90 minutes of pure bliss. His training is obvious – no buff and fluff here. One of the best, if not the best massage I’ve received from anyone on the massage sites. Felix knows how to connect with his clients. Terrific blend of deep tissue and Swedish massage. He’s very thorough with the massage and leaves no stone unturned. The use of hot stones is heavenly – the heat gets deep into the tissue for total relaxation. During the massage you can just feel all the stress release and melt from your muscles. Your muscles relax naturally, allowing Felix to work even deeper. Yes – he’s in Waukegan – totally worth the drive out to the burbs – take Sheridan road up and enjoy the scenic drive – you’ll be glad you did.

Felix is definitely an expert at what he does! He is very knowledgeable of the different methods and pressure points. I needed someone who wasn't afraid to apply the necessary pressure to relieve my muscles. His environment is very inviting and calming. More importantly he is welcoming and friendly and helped me feel relaxed. I am somewhat new to massage therapy, but he has won me over.

When I first went to Felix I was leery because I had been to masseurs before and they just didn’t instill confidence and professionalism. The minute I lay down on his table I could tell that he knew what he was doing, and this was going to be a pleasurable body work experience. Felix knows about the body, muscles, and the mood of the client. He determines where the problem spots are and works them out with his massage. He is gentle in a firm way and his hands are trained to massage the muscles and relax them. The music and the lights are so relaxing that you are transported into another dimension. Felix is warm and understanding and puts you immediately at ease with his touch, talk and demeanor. A true professional. Suddenly, your time is up, and you have to leave. That’s the worst part of the session. He is truly amazing, and I hope he never gets too busy. A must try for anyone within driving distance of Waukegan. I have been a client for over a year now and will continue to go and see him as long as I can,

I chose Felix based on the reviews he’s gathered so far. I would like to add mine. I’ve had about ten massages/masseurs over the last year due to work and life stress. Felix was very prompt and courteous in responding. He got me in for an appointment quickly. I drove over two hours to see him. His studio is easy to find, very comfortable, parking is very convenient. He was very warm and relaxed and took me into his work space which was perfect. I can say it’s the best massage I’ve ever had. Nothing even compares. Using combinations of intense and sensitive pressures, his intuition, hot stones, warm towels, music...everything was incredible. I do not see how anyone could be better. It was more than worth the drive and I will be back. Highly, highly recommend!

I see Felix for a massage whenever I am in town. He is definitely my go to person for a good massage. His massage is excellent, he has very strong hands and knows how to use them for a very relaxing and therapeutic massage. He has moved to a new, nicer location in Waukegan which helps set the mood for a good massage. He uses his hands, warm stones and towels and a combination of techniques to provide a very relaxing experience. I carry lots of stress in my back and shoulders and he is good at getting me to relax. Every time I am back in the area, I plan on seeing Felix.

My massage sessions with Felix have been incredible, and well worth the trip to Waukegan. Felix is very sweet and highly professional. He inspires trust, confidence and maintains a calm, relaxing, and private space. His hands are smooth, firm, strong and precise. He uses hot stones, his superior dexterity and runs the massage session intuitively, and gives your muscles careful attention. I moved back last year and was looking for a new Masseur. I found Felix Online
and made my first appointment. Even though I drive quite a ways to see
Felix weekly, the trip is always more than worthwhile. There is no problem
that he is in a suburban solon. The massage room is very private, beautifully decorated
and very relaxing. He is very intuitive and versatile and his experience
shows. Recently I had a shoulder injury and he did deep work that
really helped my shoulder. He tailors the appointment to your needs.
I now go for a two hour appointment weekly. Truly his sessions
are from earth to heaven and back in 120 minutes. I would highly recommend

Some people have a natural gift for their trade. Felix is one of those. What he does can not be tought it has to come naturally. He is truly a gifted man. I don't want to go into detals about the massage because I don't want to ruin all the surprises he has in store for you. I will say this he is a step above the rest. He incorpates things in his massagae that you only get in a top rated spa. Normally I go to someone apartment for a massage and I was a little hesitant about going to a spa. It just seemed too ackward for me. But I decided to give it a try. It turned out not to be a problem at all. His room is in the back and extremely private and quite. For those who live in Wisconsin, like i do, you have to give Felix a try. I can honestly say there is no one like him in Milwaukee, Kenosha or Racine. Finally we have someplace we can go to get relief those acking muscles and the pent-up tension without going to Chicago. Give him a try i will guarantee you will be back. I've had ongoing massage for many years with various masseurs, but Felix is one in a million. I'm so lucky to have found him that I travel 150 miles to see him. He's tremendous! For me, massage has physical but also emotional benefits. I value Felix because he is a great communicator, answering questions, finding out what I need. Felix always adjusts to what I request and his strong, steady technique is great for joint adjustment, skeletal alignment and overall relaxation. He's passionate about massage and makes me feel like I'm his only concern when I am on his table. His massage room is peaceful, nicely appointed and secure which helps me in the massage experience. I had the pleasure of receiving a massage from Felix yesterday. I’ve had many massages during my lifetime, however his massage exceeds them all.

Was greeted with a smile, asked if wanted water. Then asked when last massage was. When receiving the massage, I was pleasantly surprised by the methods. Told him where the problem areas were and he concentrated on them. I will definatly go back to him for future massages

A massage from Felix is everything an excellent treatment should be - strong - caring - completely comfortable. This is my second review and I will continue. He gets better and better and cares deeply about his work and clients.
