Booking with Alex was effortless, and his beautiful, well-equipped space immediately set the tone for a professional experience. His technique is outstanding — intuitive, skilled, and deeply therapeutic.
The highlight was his use of hot towels and mint-eucalyptus aromatherapy, which left me completely relaxed and refreshed. Hands down, one of the best massages I’ve ever had.

I was thrilled that when I called Alex to schedule a massage that he happened to have an opening within an hour of my call. It was my lucky night. Scheduling and communication from him was easy and he's in a very central location with plenty of easy access via the subway.
He met me at the door with a smile which immediately put me at ease and his place is warm, inviting and well decorated. His hands are strong and he specifically asked if I liked light, medium or deep massage. I chose the deep massage which he immediately demonstrated that he had the strength to go deep.
I thoroughly enjoyed the massage and if I didn't live so far away, I'd be a loyal regular every week. I know I'll be calling him every time I get back to NYC. Thanks for being one of the best massage therapist I've every had, Alex!

Upscale massage experience.
As a professional basketball player I have a lot of tension and muscle spasms due to my training. Alex’s unique style combined: sports massage, deep tissue massage with hot stones as well as stretching.
The technique he used definitely exceeded my expectations.
His space is very clean and inviting. The aroma diffuser with scents of peppermint and eucalyptus created a soothing and relaxed ambience, whilst the heated massage table let me completely relax and unwind, making me feel very cozy especially in November’s cold weather.
Very highly recommended.
I will definitely be getting my fix again soon from Alex, for a unique and unforgettable massage experience.

Alex is one of the best massage therapists I have had. I suffer from lower back and neck pains due to hernias that have developed over the years of training and had a 1 hour deep tissue massage at his studio. His technique consisted of a combination of deep tissue massage and hot stone therapy and it made all the difference in the world. The studio is super clean and Alex is very courteous and professional and offers a very relaxing experience with great music in the back round. I have been there twice already and plan to continue going back again soon. Highly recommended, very happy overall

Over the past couple years, I have become a regular client of Max’s. I consider him to be one of the best in the city, no question. He has a wonderful studio set-up, complete with diffusers to give the space a relaxing aroma and clean linens and towels. He has clear technical expertise as a massage therapist, and always tailors his work to my body perfectly. He is incredibly strong, which enables him to get deep into my muscle tissue. He also incorporates stretching which has helped increase my flexibility over time. And he spends time in areas other masseurs tend to ignore, including the chest muscles, the scalp, and feet (his foot massages in particular are a thing of wonder). He is usually quiet, which contributes to the relaxing, meditative atmosphere in the space. But he is friendly and welcoming, and willing to work with me to address any challenge areas. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Max delivered. His massage was truly the best massage I've ever had. His technique is a blend of perfectly executed modalities. He wields the strength to accommodate any pressure preference, and perfect intuition. I will return.

I was Max's last appointment of the day, so he obliged when I asked if he could extend my 60 minute massage to 90 minutes. He is professional, polite, and the appointment never felt rushed. His massage is knowledgeable and the pressure was firm but never painful. He's the real deal.
