My name is Juan, I'm certified massage therapist trained in several massage modalities and over 10 years experience providing clients with quality body work sessions.
I specialize in providing relief from stress, body discomfort, release of knots, back pain, tense muscles, and relaxation.
Each session is intuitively designed to the individual client's needs. Of course, your preferences will always dictate the exact course of the session.

I scheduled a 90 minute massage with Juan because my usual massage therapist is in Europe for months, and I was a ball of stress, aches, and tight muscles and fascia. I was in need, and Juan had availability for me. The studio is convenient in the upper Haight, and Juan is gracious, warm and inviting. The lighting, music, and aromatherapy were immediately relaxing. I quickly filled out standard intake forms and he asked pertinent questions about what needed work and how I prefer bodywork. I have had a series of excellent bodyworkers in my over 50 years. Juan provided me an excellent and intuitive therapeutic massage. His handiwork demonstrated his deep knowledge of of technique and pressure. I opted for arnica oil because I was in such knots. He operated deftly at each swipe of his hands and each pressure point.
It also was so comfortable to have Juan working on me, that any worries I may have had about how my tired, achey, post-holiday-gluttony body might have looked melted away. He fully put me at ease. Juan knew every point to hit, and did so with talent. This was a remarkable massage. I will be a return client.

Juan's massage left me feeling so relaxed. He worked on the neck pain I've been having for the past month. It feels so much better now. His massage space is clean, and comfortable. I like it to be warm when I'm receiving a massage. He adjusted the room temperature perfectly. Juan checked in to be sure the pressure and temperature were to my liking. He is a sweet man and knows what he is doing. I will definitely be returning.
