A Certified Massage Therapist with about 12 years of experience, I've also progressed through 500 hours of additional advanced training. I love to learn new modalities and bring them back to my clients. I enjoy working on all kinds of clients, old, young; all shapes and sizes. My massages are medium priced to encourage clients to come back frequently. Though my massage is Swedish based I also pull from several different modalities, such as Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point and Reiki energy work. With all these techniques in my tool kit you get a "unique" massage created to solve your individual problems. I generally focus a portion of the work on passive stretching and getting you to breath so you can accept the massage. Some of these stretches are Thai massage techiques adapted to the table. I work out of my apartment but have a special room dedicated to massage. It is an elevator building. The bathroom is right next to the massage area and a shower is available either before or after the massage. You will have complete privacy. The work is done on a wide table with a heated pad. Soft music and candles warm the space. My studio is very centrally located in San Francisco, an easy cab ride down Market from Union Square hotels and easily accessible by Muni, Bart and bus lines. The nearest Muni stop is Church and Market one block away. Bart is six blocks away at 16th and Mission. Because my space is so important to how I work, I only do in calls.
Please note because of a fire in my building, I have had to relocate my massage practice and home, on a temporary basis, to a house on the edge of Bernal Heights and the Mission. It is very near the BART 24th Street station. I will let everyone know when I can move back into my old address at 14th and Dolores.
I come to massage work after years of working in marketing in the engineering and high tech industries. Born and raised in Illinois, I attended university there, studied and lived in France for two years and then moved to New York City for over two decades. I was trained to be a writer but California and the explosion of high tech at the turn of the century offered me opportunities I could not turn down. This is how I came to live in the City by the Bay.
