Deep Tissue, Shiatsu & 10 other techniques
My therapeutic massages are specialized for your specific needs, areas of pain or injuries. I utilize deep tissue and PNF stretching to increase flexibility and range of motion for preventive maintenance. For stubborn aches and pains, I incorporate cupping techniques and gua sha to release stagnation.
Many aches and pains can be attributed to spastic muscles in a constant state of contraction due to repetitive motion. The most common sources... of pain are computer work and driving. My neck and shoulder protocol have proven extremely effective in reducing neck pain, headaches and tingling/numbness in the arms and hands.
Also contributed to desk jobs and excessive sitting is low back pain. My protocol for low back pain includes PNF stretching and extensive attention in the hip extensors and flexors.
Most of my clients are regulars. Regular bodywork on overused muscles is important to train the muscles to relax. My clients have seen tremendous improvement in their quality of lives through regular massages focused on relaxing overworked muscles.
As time permits, expect relaxing techniques towards the end such as foot reflexology.
