Calming Bodywork by Gerald

I have gotten massage with Gerald a few times now and have been extremely grateful for both his presence and skill. He is gentle in his conversation but firm in pressure, carefully attuned to my preference. I always find the session comfortable, leaving me feeling major relief afterwards. I really appreciated his slow and steady flow, which gave thorough attention to muscle groups that other therapists neglect. Also, he is confident in holding stillness and quiet which shouldn't be taken for granted. I am excited to continue working with him.

Hard to find a better massage therapist or experience! I travel for work almost every week and a good massage is top priority and Gerald hands down is the best! A visit to his cozy office has become a priority stop for me. From the start he intuitively knows what areas I need the most focus. His calming voice adds to the experience and knows when conversation is needed and when the focus is on relaxation. I highly recommend making time to allow Gerald to work you and you will definitely become a regular customer!

Yesterday, Gerald gave me my first massage ever! He was able to squeeze me in last minute and I am so glad that he did. Once I got there, Gerald explained everything to me and made me feel instantly at ease. His pressure for deep tissue was amazing, but not uncomfortable. I immediately felt the tension release. I also received a body trimming from him that same day, and it was amazing! He was very gentle and was careful to not pull my hair. His touch was very light and he made sure to put product on me that ensured that I would not get razor bumps. I will definitely be coming back!

I first visited Gerald for a 90 minute deep tissue massage session back in December 2020. I immediately became a repeat client with regularly scheduled sessions every two weeks. To say that Gerald is fantastic may be an understatement. He's a super nice guy and extremely attentive to my needs. He has no problem altering his technique as needed each session to address any problem areas I may be having. He's also very accommodating if I need to change my appointments from time to time in advance to address frequent work travel. His massage set up is clean and comfortable and centrally located in the heart of Gainesville. I find myself looking forward to my next session days before it arrives - would do weekly if I could. Cant recommend him enough. Give him a try and you wont regret it !

I have seen many massage therapists over the years and must say that Gerald is the best of the best. He talks to you before the massage begins to find out your trouble areas and then gets to work. His firm pressure on the back, legs and neck are just right. He knows when to apply more pressure and is a very good judge of when to relax pressure. His studio is very calming and relaxing. Gerald checks in periodically to make sure the pressure is acceptable and he is a great conversationalist. I plan to continue to book with him into the future. AL
