Therapeutic Massage by Dimitri

I have tried many massage therapists and I can confidently say that Dimitri is by far the best one. First, he really knows his anatomy. You can immediately tell that he has studied extensively massage. I’ve has multiple massages from him and each time, I feel amazing afterwords, all knots gone and relaxed. Second, he really cares about you and your comfort level. He checks up on you throughout the massage to make sure the pressure is right for you and that you are doing okay. Amazing experience every time and I highly recommend him to anyone wanting therapeutic massage work.

Dimitri’s massage techniques are phenomenal. His instincts and focus are the finest I have every experienced. I have received many massages but Dimitri’s massage is the best I have ever encountered. Dimitri is the best masseur I’ve come across in Los Angeles!! I can’t speak highly enough about his work. I’ve seen Dimitri for a few months now on a fairly regular basis. I was looking for a CMT to help with chronic neck, shoulder and back pain and to help with tight hips and hamstrings. What I can say is his massage therapy has helped me greatly; I have far less pain in my posterior chain and my mobility is much improved. Dimitri has deep knowledge of body’s physiology and that makes him a highly effective therapist. He spends the time to ask questions to find out what my issues are and discusses how he plans to address them. Then he gets to work, checking in regularly on my comfort, the pressure he is using and how I’m doing. He’s strong, skilled and very focused but he’s also very warm and personable. It took years to find the right guy and I couldn’t be happier to be his client.

For the past couple of years Dimitri has been my favorite massage therapist to see when my body is out of whack. He knows physiology and I can count on him to use a mixture of therapeutic and soothing strokes to target and relieve sore spots. I always feel like I am in good hands with him so all I have to do is lay back, relax, and enjoy the ride. He never fails to work out all of the knots and to stretch tight muscles into submission.

I'll start this off with saying I've had tons of massages from many different masseurs and Dimitri is one of the best. Kind and trustworthy, clean, tall (very handsome) with big strong hands - it's a dream every time I get the chance to relax on his heated table and let him pamper me. His massage is the perfect combination of therapeutic and relaxing, applying extra pressure when needed and checking in consistently (but not annoyingly). Dimitri stays completely professional, but he's not afraid of working glutes and hams where an active guy like me holds tension. He's absolutely worth the drive if you're coming from Weho - I do it happily and as often as I can.

I’m a bit reluctant to write this review, because when you find someone this good, the inclination is to be selfish and not share. But here is my bottom line: Dimitri is the absolute best massage therapist I have ever known. When you meet Dimitri, you know immediately that you are in the hands of a professional who has justifiable confidence and pride in his skill. He knows his craft and has an uncanny ability to know exactly how to address every painful knot and sore muscle in a way that leaves you invigorated and feeling completely restored. In a way I’ve never experienced with any other masseur, I feel the good effects of his work for days after being on his table. If a magician were ever a massage therapist, Dimitri would be the one.
This man truly works magic. I’ve come to him with massive amounts of built-up stress, achiness and muscle pain. On the day following the session – not only is all of that gone – but my energy level and mental positivity is through the roof. Dimitri is the real deal. He is intuitive, professional, courteous, timely, accessible, and a very kind soul on top of all that. He checks in frequently regarding the level of pressure and general comfort. The temperature of the squeaky clean dedicated massage room is never hot, never cold; and he even gently wipes you down with hot towels at the conclusion of the massage, and offers the use of a shower - in a squeaky clean rest room, of course. Even a dedicated parking spot right in front of his building awaits you. Incredible.

I recommend Dmitri for a thorough as well as relaxing massage. He is versed in several modalities from his years of experience. I have seen Dmitri several times and have been satisfied with the results. His massage hits the muscle groups with skills. The massage is excellent for post workout stiffness and well as other muscle problems. He puts you at ease with conversation and confidence in his talent.
