Testimonial: When I met up with Mario, he was polite and warm. Offered me some water and we chatted briefly while i cooled down. The massage was very intense. when he says deep tissue, he is not kidding! On my back and shoulders, that sort of pressure was amazing. For my legs, i asked him to turn it down a notch and he found the perfect level of pressure. I was relaxed and de-knotted when he was finished. He is a great massage therapist and i would go back anytime.

About the reviewer: I generally enjoy getting a massage on a monthly basis. I look for a personable masseur who understands the muscles of the body and how to work them. I work out at a gym at least three times a week and sometimes my muscles just ache for a great massage therapist.

Testimonial: If you are reading this, then you must be trying to decide whether to see Mario for a massage. Read this review and it will help you make your choice. First off book him, you won't be sorry! I promise. When you get to his apartment treat yourself to the million dollar, (or 2 million, its a Manhattan apt. after all), view of the entire west and southwest and northwest skyline of Manhattan. Once he begins working on you, you will forget all about that. Mario is an excellent massage therapist starting right from his state of the art massage table designed wide at the shoulders narrow at the waist and legs, and wide at the feet so you can spread them out, this is also so that Mario can get around you and close in to your body to apply his intuitively deep pressure where you need it most, and believe me he will find all the spots. This is also a true NY bargain as he is less expensive than most of the other therapists I have seen and the best I have ever seen. Do not hesitate to treat yourself to a massage with Mario, you will book another appointment for sure!

About the reviewer: I am a massage therapist in my late 30's. I usually have a massage twice a month at minimum. I look for a real massage, by a skilled therapist that can read the muscle structure of my body, and apply the best amount of pressure to the muscles to work out knots and lactid acid build up.

Testimonial: I suffer from chronic pain due to Hepatitis C, so a good massage has to be more than relaxing for me — it needs to be analgesic. Well, Mario has a natural gift for making the tension and the pain evaporate. By the time he's finished with me, I find myself more relaxed and pain-free than if I'd been given a shot of Demerol. And it lasts for several days. He does this in a space that is both visually and sonically appealing; the music he plays completes a perfect massage environment. He intuitively zeros in on every knot, every ache and virtually erases them. Yet I never feel droopy or woozy when he's done...he always leaves me refreshed and energetic. A truly magical, renewing experience.

About the reviewer: I'm a 50-year-old graphic artist and musician. I do a lot of work in front of computer screens, which adds immeasurable tension to the chronic Hepatitis C-induced pain I endure. I've not had many professional massages; most have been given by friends. Well, there's something to be said for going to a professional...the results are better, AND THEY LAST.
