Massages are performed on the table. My style largely depends on client's body type and needs. Typically, I start with long Swedish-style strokes, progressing into deep-tissue work with elbows and forearms. During the first several minutes of body exploration, acute tension areas, if any, are recognized and then attacked with various techniques such as rolfing, trigger point release and various deep release methods borrowed from thai and shiatsu styles.
Q: When is the best time to make an appointment?
A: Ideally, one day ahead or even earlier! If you reach out early, you are almost guaranteed to get in at your desired time. For same-day appointments, which tend to be popular among visitors, reaching out in the AM to schedule a PM appointment will most likely be fine. Giving a few hours notice may work, but it may not as well. If you are asking for now, it's extremely unlikely. It takes me several hours to get back to you.
