Massage Therapy and related body work techniques can release painful muscle tension, improve circulation, increase joint flexibility and reduce mental and physical fatigue. In addition, massage is among the most effective means available to combat stress. With this said, massage should not be considered a luxury but rather an integral part of ones quest for well being. My 20 years of experience working as a massage therapist have allowed me to assist those in need of sports injury rehabilitation, cancer patients seeking an alternative therapy from the effects certain treatments/medications have on the body to those looking to escape for an hour from the every day stressors. The effects of massage many not be immediate but the benefits and sense of well being will be felt over the following days.
I am a graduate of The Somerset School of Massage Therapy and have received my Shiatsu Certification from Healing Hands Institute.
I specialize in Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish Massage,Trigger Point Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Range of Motion/Stretching modalities.
