I called Russel for an appointment this past weekend. He was very quick to respond. He was also very patient with me as I tried to find his place. Russell has a very calming demeanor. After asking for any areas that needed to be focused on, the massage began. I do a lot of martial arts so my back, legs, and shoulders are always sore. Russell made me feel so much better. He didn't rush the massage. You could tell that his main focus was making sure that i was better when i left. It was so good, I set up another session for the following day. I'd met Russell previously and he had a sterling reputation as a fine massage therapist. I was finally able to make an appointment and I knew within the first minute that Russell has "good hands" in that he is intuitive, experienced and exceptional at all he does. The ambience was great and his technique so soothing that I quickly reached that zone of half-sleep, and in my opinion that's the objective of a massage--total relaxation. I've been to Russell for massage twice now and thought OK, I've got to to write a review to let everyone looking for a massage in SoFla how incredibly talented he is. I know there are quite a few Masseurs to choose from here in the Ft. Lauderdale area but you've got to have one from Russell. His "Blissage is AWESOME just like he states, slow, tender, rhythmic, and sensual with deep tissue if needed. I visit the East Coast once a year and always look forward to a great massage. Before I left I had written down 3 phones numbers of guys that I wanted to call. I sat there looking at the paper and called Russell. He was extremely friendly on the phone and I set up an appt for the next day. He asked me some questions about pressure and my comfort level and his studio was very soothing. This was an excellent massage experience. Russell is everything he claims to be. I received an excellent, skilled massage but more importantly, I felt connected, safe and "blissful". Very sensual without being sexual.
Highly recommended.

I just got back from a 90 minute "fix it" from Russell. Russell is a super nice guy who definitely knows his stuff. I asked for deep pressure on my upper back and he delivered and spent extra time and focus there. He definitely has a unique approach to massage - I swear a few times during the massage time actually stood still and it never felt rushed. Highly recommended.

I can't rate Russell highly enough. "Five stars" can't do justice to his massage ... and I'm not one to give perfect ratings, in general.

I was a little unsure trying a masseur with no feedback, but I liked his description and figured I'd take a gamble. He's just starting out with his private practice in South Florida, but he's got tons of experience, and it shows.

More than just experience or technical expertise, however, Russell has an amazing spiritual connection to his craft and his clients. He's a soulful, artistic guy, and it comes through in his touch. The... (Read full review
