“It suddenly dawned on me that I have been seeing Tetsu for over a year and had never yet written a review.

Tetsu is a true master in every sense of the word. His massage is stimulating, and grounding. Sensual and healing. He is extremely intuitive and puts his whole being into the massage. My sessions with him are intimate but in no way sexual. His combination of pressure and technique is amazing. It’s a very unique experience that leaves me feeling much more than relaxed.

Tetsu exudes a calmness I have seldom come across, and his space is warm and soothing and quiet. For 90 minutes I can forget everything in the world except what is happening to me at that moment - and that is true bliss.”

“WOW! How do I begin to rate Tetsu? He throws his body and soul at you like a master vintner ready to crush grapes with his almighty. To the person who said Tetsu’s massage reminds him of Cirque de Soleil: no kidding!

I am from Florida; for out-of-towners, Tetsu’s massage studio is near the Subway with a short walk from the station; very conveniently located. The studio is impeccable, warm, and exudes an aura of calmness.

Tetsu’s massage is the ultimate treat. I like deep tissue treatments and Tetsu goes deep in an uninhibited way that reaches every last muscle. Oh, it hurts so good! I was pulled, and stretched, and kneaded, and nearly walked on; all with incredible focus and intensity. Tetsu is all yours for those 70 minutes and you’re all his too. The connection is undeniable.

The last five minutes of Tetsu’s massage were a whirlwind of lifting, pulling, and dare I say, banging? After he was done with every body part he sat me up and returned to my back. What a treat! I get massage on a regular basis and had never had a therapist return to my back. WOW! What a way to end an amazing session.

Look no further. Tetsu is a master at what he does. He gives all of his body to you. In my humble opinion, it’s an honor receive it.

Now, how do I convince my boss that I have to return to L.A.?”

“Wow; how do you connect words to describe Nirvana. I am normally a really talker, but I am still on such a high that I am truly speechless.

Tetsu exudes calmness.

The space was peaceful, comfortable, warm and quiet. The session was intimate but in no way sexual; it was sensual but again, in no way sexual. He stretched me the way an athletic trainer would stretch an athlete; he anointed me with warm oils that was relaxing and soothing. I floated off and left all physicals ties behind.

Tetsu is a true energy practitioner - relaxing and energizing at the same time.

At the conclusion of the massage he helps you sit up and then offers one last very enveloping embrace and thanks you for allowing him to share the time with you.

This review probably sounds rambling but like I said, how do connect words to describe Nirvana. (The dictionary defines Nirvana as, "a place or state of oblivion to care, pain, or external reality; bliss, heaven"). I can't wait until my next Nirvana experience with Tetsu.”

“Tetsu is amazing. I have had regular massages for 20 years, on three continents, and he is in a class by himself. I like deep massage, and he goes deep, stretches me, works out the kinks in areas I didn't even know were tense (feet! thighs!). If you like a lighter massage, I'm sure he can do that. (He can do anything.) The massage room is great, music is terrific and he ends with a kind of meditative few minutes that always leave me floating. The only hesitation I have in writing this review is that it might be harder to find an available slot when word spreads. But he's given me so many hours of terrific massage, I owe him this. “Those 90 minutes were part zen rite and part Cirque de Soleil with a lot of deep serious massage added in for good measure. Tetsu seems to use his whole body in a way that make you feel like a whole troupe of acrobats are involved. I needed to look up a couple of times because there were several "What the heck?" moments that felt so good had to see how he'd managed to invoke that feeling. Hard to put into words effectively, but suffice it to say that the guy's a master, and he threw my 6'1 / 260 frame around on his table like I was a halibut filet. Serious business, this stuff he does to us mere mortals. The chart only goes up to five, but he's clearly six stars, if not more.”

“I was referred to Tetsu four or five years ago after a bad swimming injury. I messed up my shoulder with a strained muscle that was killing me. He was the 4th or 5th guy that I went to for help. I've been swimming forever so I knew what I needed, I just needed to find the guy who could put his muscle work into my back to fix it. Tetsu was awesome and as I continue to swim he continues to keep me in shape, especially after I do dumb things. He was great after a motorcycle accident too.
I went to him once after an accident that affected me very emotionally and he knew that my spirit was much more damaged than my body without me saying a word. He spent a lot more time on the energy work that I needed than on the muscle massage I thought I needed. I love his skill, his style and his strength. Compared to the 'let me rub this oil on you and touch you for an hour' massages that I have had, Tetsu is not afraid to give me a masculine massage where he lifts me and flexes my different muscle groups to get the stretch and relief I need, as inelegant as some positions may appear, it feels awesome.
No, I don't 'know' him. I'm not his buddy and we don't hang out and I'm not loading this review for any other reason than he does great work and I know that you will be really happy with the results.”

His style is a rather unconventional blend of thai, reiki and swedish that is a fantastic way to release stress and stretch. I want to say Tetsu is an artist--which he surely is-- but there is something mystical about the experience as well. And he's hot-- Reiki hot. The heat from his hands penetrates. Yes, yes-- he's also as hunky as anything you've seen in your finest marshall art film fantasies--but this transcends all that. Let's say mystically sensual in the course of outstanding body work. “Hey guys -- I've been to many massuers in the L.A. area. I used to "try out" different services as I believe a massage is necessary to realign the body and good for basic health. This is by far the best massage available in Los Angeles. Tetsuya is incredible aware of the body and it's needs and he provides all of them in perfect Shiatsu fashion. Try this guy and you won't go to any other. Note: This is a legit massage and will reinvigorate your body and spirit.”
