Michael Langlois Massage TherapyThe finest bodywork in South Florida
F
irst and foremost, if you would like to book a massage or speak to me about my work, please call me at 305 502-9992. Do not email me as I do not respond to emails very promptly. I have been a licensed massage therapist since 1991. Prior to becoming a therapist I was a dancer with American Ballet Theatre, Feld Ballet, and several companies in Europe. After becoming a therapist I began working in a chiropractic setting as well as with dancers in New York City Ballet and ABT. In 1992 I moved to Boston for school and 1996 graduated with a degree in Fine Art from Brown University. Since my arrival in Miami in 2001 I have continued to expand the scope of my practice. I became the Vice President of the Florida State Massage Therapy Association where I served for 4 years while studying a host of different modalities: Structural Integration, Myofascial Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, The Functional Training Techniques of Paul Chek, Active Isolated Stretching, Physical Rehabilitation, Pre Natal massage and so on. I care about my clients and take my work seriously. At the same time I try not to take myself too seriously. I have always believed that the more attuned we are to our bodies the more of life we can experience. Those are the goals I have for my clients as well as myself. My work is strictly non-sexual.

I received hundreds of massages during my career and when I was looking around for a job that would pay my way through college it occurred to me that massage might be the perfect fit. Little did I realize that this many years later I would still be making my living as a therapist and that I would find in this field a wealth of possibilities for personal and professional growth. I make a decent living and help people in an immediate way that is rare. I have many interests and am always delving into new things but what I continually return to is this work that I do and the difference I'm able make with something so seemingly simple, my hands.
