What has become my lifelong passion emerged during this period: the study of and immersion in human intimacy in all its aspects;biological, psychological, philosophical, spiritual, aesthetic and erotic. In pursuance of this multifaceted goal I obtained a B.A. degree in bio-psychology from Lawrence University, and a Masters in experimental psychology from U. Wisconsin-Madison, and then worked for a few years as a psychological counselor with adult mentally ill clients. At this point I was ready to dig deeper into the nature of intimacy, writing articles on such themes as the relation between thinking and feeling, and embodied cognition for academic journals, and publishing a book in postmodern philosophy, "Sense and Affect". One of the most remarkable discoveries that came to me from these explorations was how crucial touch is in my life. I founded my bodywork practice on the idea that touch needs to be experienced like music or other arts, as fully expressive, intelligent, nuanced, structured, and VISIONARY. My study and practice of bodywork integrates techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue and accu-pressure within an approach which sees every move my body makes, every stroke, every variation of pressure, rhythm, pacing, shift of position, as fitting into the whole of the massage exactly so, just as every note in a song fits in exactly right. I was offered the opportunity to have a 4 hand massage with Jeremy and Dean. After Dean eloquently described the massage, I decided to take advantage of the 4 hand. I pre-paid with PayPal, which was much more convenient for me. I was not quite sure what to expect, but was wonderful. Jeremy and Dean have an amazing balance to the massage. A well choreographed experience. Both are very intuitive with their touch.... So, first I'll just echo that the other reviews are spot on accurate. The condo is a perfect warm temperature, Jeremy set the lighting and music perfectly -- and took a few minutes to get undressed for the massage -- not just rushing in directions for me or his own actions. The massage was great in part because Jeremy and Dean have different approaches and "touch.... From the moment I entered Jeremy's lovely apartment replete with engaging artwork and a spectacular water view, I immediately got into relaxation mode. Based on the glowing reviews and his very informative website, I figured this would be a nice treat while in Chicago. I spoke with Jeremy a couple of hours before the massage was scheduled to confirm time and place and he told me that he and Dean may be late. Later, Jeremy called me to tell me that, unfortunately, Dean had injured his knee and was unable to come. He was very apologetic and I changed the session to a 90 min solo one....
