As usual, one call & it was planned. A follow up call to confirm by Dave a week later was considerate & appreciated, again as usual. Dave's technique is seamless. And here's another thing: he never repeats the same massage twice and yet his results are always absolutely complete. Dave was amazing with his massage. He talked me thru questions about what I would and wouldn't like and if there was any area he should avoid or pay special attention to. His professionalism was outstanding. And then the massage started. He worked over my entire body, paying attention to areas I didn't even know needed it. His intuitive nature and strong hands made for an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend him and I would definitely go back!

I cannot say enough good things about David. My massage was outstanding. It far exceeded my expectations. I am a married man who desires the sensual touch of another man. I explained my situation to David and he made me feel at ease. We actually spoke by phone twice before my actual appt. Dave was warm and professional from the outset. When I arrived I felt comfortable immediately. His work is incredible; strong, sensual, focused, knowledgeable and thorough. He is clearly a very spiritual man and generous with his erotic, energetic, fluid and graceful touch. This was one of the most integrating, satisfying massages I have ever had.

I called before I flew into the Bay Area on business. I had heard about Dave Gerdes from a colleague who swore he'd never had a massage like Dave's. I agree with him 100%. It was a pleasant experience to get there - out of the city. Dave's studio is perched on a beautiful hill, surrounded by greenery. I had seen Dave for a massage 5+ years ago, but when I called him for this appointment, he remembered me! He was willing to speak at length to ensure that I was able to express my needs to him and for him to advise me on how he could assist me. He provided excellent directions to his studio, which is located in a lovely, quiet wooded area in the Marin hills. Dave was very helpful from my first inquiry, directions and discussing various types of bodywork that he offers. Great secluded setting in Fairfax (Marin County). It had been 2 years since my last massage. Dave made me comfortable right away. I have had many massages over the years and trust me, I have NEVER experienced anything close to what Dave Gerdes provides. His moves are amazing - I never expected so much from a massage. I call my sessions with Dave Gerdes, Cirque de Soleil massages, because I feel I am participating in some mythic rite of embodiment. The sensations are astonishing as my tissues awaken. Dave's strokes are long—often from my feet to top of my head. Every touch seems to involve the whole of my body, a sort of weaving together of the pieces of myself into a whole. Dave's inviting studio is in the trees close to Mt Tam in Marin County. The first thing I noticed driving there was how good it smelled -- a forest. Dave welcomed me, asking questions to get at what brought me there, urging me to be forthright so that he could tailor my experience. He explained that integral massage is all-over body massage, combining several styles (Esalen, Swedish, etc.). I have a very busy schedule and don't get massage as much as I would like to. I saw Dave's ad was immediately drawn to it. I called him to make an apointment. He was very forthcoming and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. The day of the massage, I was a little nervous walking up the steps to his studio.
