I am sitting at Starbucks and wanted to share my experience after leaving Rick’s Massage Table.

As I sit here, my body feels whole, awakened, de-stressed and “free.” In my mind, I feel this strange openness, as if I have no thoughts. Before my session, my mind was so full of work and some family challenges. I know it sounds weird, but it’s like when you clean your desk and all of a sudden your mind is free.

I’ve worked with a variety of practitioners, bodyworkers of all sorts, from this site and many others including locals when I travel. I travel all over the world for work and spend a lot of time in Europe and Asia. I’m on TV and you’d probably recognize me. I only say that to say, my body has been worked on everywhere in the world, no joke.

There is something magical when people see you for who you are and not what you do, no roles, no titles, just connection. I experience Rick this way. He just sees me and not my title or my celebrity. I can say, he’s like a best friend. I’m safe to be myself and to be freely expressed. He just welcomes me fully, no judgment or pretense.

Rick’s touch is a wow factor! His hands feel like the hands of a wise old man, like they have a knowing that can only be had with lifetimes of experience. And he’s not old lol! As he worked his way around my body, I noticed he did things differently, found places that were the root cause of my discomfort and spoke me through what was occurring as I could feel the cascade effect, the release of a variety of tensions across my body as he worked a specific area. I’ve not experienced that level of technical skill anywhere. It was very specific and it felt really amazing!

When you have a sec, schedule a session with Rick. He’s really special and you’ll immediately notice you’re in good hands. I have already scheduled a second session this week and a standing session weekly so that when I’m in town, I have that time with him for my body.

I wanted to schedule a last-minute massage before heading into a really rough work week. I found Rick, and saw how overwhelmingly positive his reviews were, so I reached out to him. Rick responded so quickly and was so gracious and let me know about different add-ons to the massage I could choose. I never had a body scrub before, so I added that to my massage.

The entire experience was one of the most magical massage experiences I've ever had. I understand the other reviews now. The man is gifted. And I felt so relaxed and comfortable (and comforted, he's such a nice person). Can't wait to see him again.

Wow, just wow. I'm still floating.

My body is buzzing. I called to schedule with Rick just wanting a good massage. I’ve read his reviews and thought he sounded great. While I wasn’t expecting much, I’m pretty open minded. He was really easy to communicate with, no bs, just straight to the point and we scheduled.

I scheduled for 80 min. Truthfully, I could have stayed on his table for 3 hours! He’s quiet when he works and just “goes to work,” as he says. He found places that were tight and he was able to work that out so artfully. It felt so good, so productive and I wasn’t wincing and breathing heavy and waiting for the moment to pass. Instead, my body was just trusting this touch (I’m not sure what to say about that, exactly, but I don’t think I’ve had that experience before).

I came from running outside. He did an abbreviated body scrub pre-massage as part of my session. Even that felt amazing. His hands are extraordinary. When he touches you, you feel “experience” in his hands. Every aspect of his touch left me feeling more relaxed, eventually settling into the table more deeply. He calls this “stages of relaxation,” going deeper and deeper into a state of what I’m going to call: Bliss. It was really amazing!

During the session, he covered my eyes, had nice music playing, a heated table, memory foam padding on his table and a warm and quiet dedicated space. I honestly felt at home when I was with him. I left my clothes in the massage room when I went to shower and realized then that I felt at home. I felt like he accepted me fully, no judgments and was able to honor my situation.

If you haven’t found your person, he’s the real deal. I had the same guy for 4 years and he recently went back to school and is no longer available. I’ve been looking for his replacement and I’ve found him! I have scheduled a weekly standing appointment and I’m so grateful for Rick and his gifts.

GO SEE THIS GUY! HE'S THE REAL DEAL!

5 Stars, if I could do 500 Stars I would, no kidding.

I fell and broke my ankle and while in PT, my therapist said go see a Massage Therapist. I'd worked with Rick previously and reached out knowing I'd feel better.

What I didn't know is that he could do REHAB work!

After the session, I could MOVE my legs and my hips. I could stand up STRAIGHT. My vision was even BRIGHTER. There was NO pain. I could move again without feeling limited in my body. The coolest part: the SWELLING in my ankle was VISIBLY less. It was really extraordinary to feel Rick move around the table and "GO TO WORK" as he says.

The session was specific to pain and recovery and he's trained clinically in pain management. I didn't realize the extend of his training. While I knew he did an amazing full body relaxation massage (the best I've ever experienced), I had no idea he could relieve my body of pain and immobility. EXTRAORDINARY!

SCHEDULE with Rick and just allow him to LISTEN & FOLLOW. If you ask him what he does he'll say, "I listen and follow what your body says." I didn't get it until this session.

If you're ready to be cared for in an extraordinary way, THIS is your guy.

I started working with Rick 25 years ago! But, I lost his info 10 years ago. I was so excited to see his ad back online. I have never experienced anything like his sessions with anyone.

I've had massage for over 40 years with literally hundreds of different practitioners and many in Chicago as I'm from the northern suburbs and Rick has the highest level of EXPERTISE of every other practitioner I've seen and some have been amazing. It's his approach, his listening, technical skills, he's super funny and as he moves my body and uses various techniques, he creates changes in my body that I've never experienced. It's really "other-worldly." It's EXTRAORDINARY!

I just had the 3 hour Spa Experience with him (body scrub, grooming, massage) and he's simply the best. If you haven't tried him, you'll feel immediately at EASE. His place is always clean, he keeps it warm and his table is super comfortable, heated and with a memory foam top. Why doesn't everyone's table have this?

I could go on...but I know this is long already, lol. Rick, you are simply a GIFT and thank you for sharing those gifts with all of us.
