My experience with Jhon was perfect. After a long weekend in NYC, a relaxing massage is what I needed. He is a certified professional and knows exactly what he’s doing. Very good at communicating and very good at understanding what kind of massage you’re looking for. It was the best professional massage I’ve booked for ever.

Got an amazing massage a few weeks back from Jhon. I was sore from too much tennis and yoga, and he easily located the sore spots and worked them with great detail. He's a big muscled guy and was able to do deep work using his strength and body weight. Because of his size, he was able to stretch my full body by holding my lower body and grabbing my shoulder or arm and gently twisting. He incorporated quite a bit of Thai massage stretching. This sounds like a deep and strong massage, and it was, but he varies the pressure and added amazing detail work for hands, feet, neck, face and head. Some of the work involved big movements, sometimes sweeping the full length of my body, followed by honing in on smaller areas and sore spots. As an active guy, I regularly get massages, but Jhon's abilities provided a massage unlike I've ever experienced. Exceptional and highly recommend.

Jhon has a way about him to make you feel relaxed from the moment you meet him. No attitude but only smiles. As for the massage, he has amazingly strong hands and uses them well....does not crush you with them but gets to where the tension is. My experience with him involved a lot of stretching with the massage which I really liked.

I have gone to Jhon a few times in the last few years … He is, in short, amazing. He gives one of the best, if not the best, massage, I have ever had. I always have an incredible experience when I get a massage from him.

He blends a strong, deep tissue type of massage with a relaxing element. He checks in quite frequently to see if you are comfortable and enjoying yourself. My answer, is always a definitely “yes!” I have trouble with my lower back and he is very intuitive with this and I always feel much better after I have a massage with him.

He has a quiet, dry, sense of humor, which I really enjoy. He puts me at ease with his easy-going personality. The music he plays is unique and relaxing.

His rates are more than reasonable, and I will continue to go regularly. I can say enough good things about his massage.

Jhon welcomed me into his home not as a client, but as a guest. He took time to get to know me, understand my needs, and make me feel comfortable.

Jhon massage techniques and experience are truly one of a kind. He asked me to give up control and to trust him, which is exactly what I did and had a truly amazing experience. I walked away not only having my body renewed but also my mind and my psyche.

Dear god in heaven. I had the privilege of having Jhon ethereal hands on my body this afternoon. First of all, setting the appt. couldn't have been easier. I wrote him around 2:30 and by 4:30 I was being treated to his inviting smile. His space is immaculate, he is stunning and his physique is breathtaking. Even better than that, I have had this dull, nagging knot on my lower back for as long as I can remember but after he worked his magic and dug into me, I have a bounce in my step where the aching once was. He walked the line of therapeutic & relaxing with an unparalleled grace. I will see him every three weeks like clockwork. He far exceeded my expectations. Definitely one of the best massages I've ever had. If It wasn't completely insane I'd get another tomorrow. If you need someone to soothe your muscles into submission, run don't walk.

Yesterday I had my fifth massage session with Jhon. I took 90 minutes and can say without exaggeration that it was the best massage I have had in a long time. Freshly arrived from further training in Thailand, Jhon gave me a "fusion"-kind massage with Thai, deep tissue, sports and Swedish techniques that proved therapeutic and relaxing as well leaving me fresh and floating, mixing these elements during the session and making them integral to the whole experience, something quite unique. His new place is as immaculate as the previous one and his hospitality is a blessing. The room was the original salon of the brownstone where the studio is located, maintaining moldings and other turn of the century details that together with the candles and flowers create a sacred-kind of blissful atmosphere. And on top of that, Jhon is as dashing as ever. Thank you Jhon, I will be back ASAP!

After reading about Jhon on his website I decided to give him a try. Fabulous massage, got all my trouble spots plus he found a few others I didn't know I had. I have recommended him to a friend. We lost our MT when he moved and Jhon is my new favorite. My friend has booked a massage too. Have booked my second one. Good not to go on the search anymore.

Jhon is a great massage therapist. Very professional, very focused, great deep tissue pressure. Identified standing posture issues and provided stretching resources and poses. Will definitely be back.

I have a disability and I use a wheelchair most masseurs wouldn’t even consider doing a massage on me. Jhon is absolutely amazing, passionate, professional, and extremely talented with his massage skills. He took his time and asked questions along the way.

This was the massage I never knew I needed. I went in with severe neck pain. Honestly, I went with Jhon because it was the first available masseur I could find near me. Best decision ever! This is not a relaxation massage and it is not a "push on the muscle knot until it hurts" kind of massage. Not gonna lie, the massage HURT. But when my hour was done, I had full range of motion in my neck and my back. I also had good ideas of ways stretch and move at home to keep my muscles moving how they should be. I returned for some sciatic pain a few weeks later after a "push at the muscle" massage therapist failed to make any improvements. Again, my pain was gone within an hour. This massage seems almost too good to be true, but I swear by it! This was so much better at solving my long term pain than chiro and other massage therapists ever were! Got some pain? Jhon is an incredibly talented massage therapist. He is super attentive to the needs of his clientele - from problem areas to pressure preferences. I particularly liked how he incorporates multiple techniques, from Swedish to deep tissue to thai. I was addicted from Day 1 and went back several more times in my short stay in New Jersey for full body and feet massages.

The studio itself is small yet very comfortable and calming, a delightful space to unwind the body and mind.

Jhon’s massage is relaxing and he incorporates smooth long stokes that push out the tension. He is flexible with his pressure, (to your desire), and can go deep or mild, but either way he is sure to gear the massage to be perfectly suited to your needs....

I’ve now had a few massages from Jhon and with each one he seems to have a unique new technique introduced which is always an added delight.

Jhon is my Masseur recurrent now and it gets better each time. If you're looking for a great therapeutic massage, look no further. His years of rock climbing experience show through in his strong hands -- unlike many masseurs, he's able to do the deeper work with his hands instead of his elbows. As a runner, I really appreciate his thorough approach to working on my glutes and hamstrings. He spends more time than other masseurs there and really knows how to get those muscles recovered from a tough workout. You'll get off his table feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and glad you scheduled a session. His location is easy access Close to Manhattan side New Jersey 6 min from Lincoln Tunnel and 15 min from George Washington Bridge. Street parking is easy and his apartment is tastefully decorated. Jhon is also friendly, easy to talk to, and has a lot of interests outside of massage. If you're lucky, you may get to hear some of the musical tracks he's done as a DJ during your session. I highly recommend 90 minutes with him.

Jhon takes a great deal of pride in his work, and immediately puts you at ease with his calm, respectful, and professional manner. He gave one of the best massages I have ever had, as his hands immediately found all my tensest spots. He was extremely accommodating and sensitive - I could tell he cared deeply about my well-being.
