I recently had the pleasure of receiving a massage from Mike, an extraordinary masseur. I left the session feeling rejuvenated, relaxed, and incredibly satisfied. Mike's professionalism, attention to detail, and adept skills left a lasting impression on me.

Scheduling was easy. Mike is very communicative, was patient answering my questions and provided me with that “this is going to be a good massage” feeling before we even met.

His studio is immaculate, private, warm and very peaceful. He offered use of the (immaculate) restroom, and some cool water, before we started.

We chatted for a few minutes before I got on the table and that is when and where the massage magic began. His technique flows between light and gentle to deep tissue work. He warms up a muscle group and continually works the group until he feels the tension leave. He provided some assisted stretching to my legs and back to further the massage experience. My back and shoulders are always tight like steel, and he was able to offer some relief.

He does not scrimp on time. I booked 90 minutes and he delivered 90 minutes. We talked for a bit after the session as I gathered my wits and got dressed.

I can genuinely say that I really enjoyed the time I spent with Mike, I left very relaxed and think I not only have a new “regular” guy, but also a new friend.

I've received hundreds of massages in my life. It's how I relax after arduous travel and how I renew my spirit. Believe me, I've had my share of lousy massages - some of which I wanted to get up and leave half-way through. In all earnestness, Mike is in the top 2%. His balance of positive energy, professionalism, competence, courtesy, kindness and skill combined to create a simply wonderful experience. I see Mike when ever I come to the desert and just wish I had a Mike in my hometown. See him.

Mike is obviously deeply trained for all the massage modalities in which he claims proficiency, especially lomi lomi. I've been to Esalen a number of times and his skills are on par with any practitioner there. In my two-hour session his hands never left my body and the ebb and flow of energy never abated. I told him afterwards, when I volunteered to write this review, that I felt I was landing from a magic carpet ride. Treat yourself to an amazing bodywork experience. You will not regret it and you'll be back for more!

One of the three best massages I've ever received, and I've been doing bodywork myself for many years. Mike obviously knows his stuff. He is kind, amiable, and well versed in the art of massage. He is a master at this. See him if you can.

I knew from the moment I walked in that this would be an amazing experience. Mike was gracious, well-spoken, polite, attentive, not rushed or distracted. His total focus for my two hour appointment was on me. As he told me, this is your time, your experience and I want to make it the best massage you've ever had. He did not disappoint. I recently had a wonderful massage session with Mike in Palm Springs and look forward to future ones, too. The entire experience was beyond first rate. His location was easy to find, and his studio was very clean, quiet, and relaxing. Mike asked what modalities I preferred and if I had any problem areas. My upper back and right leg are always bothering me and so I requested a deep-tissue massage. Mike then worked wonders with his technique — perfect firm pressure, pace, and flow — and was also very responsive to other areas with my back that seemed to trouble me. For instance, at one point, I realized that I should’ve also mentioned about a soreness in my lower left back, but Mike got to it as if he had read my mind. I didn’t have to say a word. I feel clichéd to say that this was one of the most invigorating and helpful massages I ever had — but it was! Also, Mike has quite a smart and gracious manner. It was easy to set up the appointment and I’m glad to have met him. I will be back!

As a former massuer myself it is notable that Mike is the guy I turn to when I need bodywork. He presents himself fully prepared and well-groomed, and his studio is spotless. He is 100% focused on the task at hand and is so personable I can feel his sincere commitment to provide an overall therapeutic experience. His formal training is evident, and he is very skillful and intuitive in providing just the right amount of pressure. I cannot thank him enough for wonderful sessions over the last few months. He mixes together different kinds of massage from sports and Swedish and I think some Asian massage too. It’s very relaxing at his place and he makes you the center of attention during the massage. I have gone to Mike twice now and I’ll be going back.

Went for my first massage with Mike and have to say hands down (no pun intended) it was one of the best massages I have ever received. Mike is very professional and polite and the booking process was very easy. His massage studio was wonderful. Great table and space. Easy to find and easy parking. His touch is awesome. He is very intuitive in working problem areas. He started with asking standard questions about injuries, problem areas, level of firmness in regard to touch, etc. He was great at checking in about how the massage was going and giving words of encouragement in regard to working through problem areas (I have knots in my back). He is a kind caring man and very dedicated to providing a wonderful massage experience. I will certainly be going back for more massages. Treat yourself to getting a massage from Mike!!

This was my fifth massage appointment with him and, like the others, it was outstanding. From his first communication, Mike was polite, professional, and prompt. His studio in Palm Springs is easily found, quiet, professionally furnished, and sedate. From the moment I walked into his space I felt relaxed and he took pains to put me at ease. After a short chat about my needs and expectations, I was on the table and Mike got to work. His touch is strong and firm, but moderated. He checked in once or twice, but otherwise was focused on the music. While his work on my neck and shoulders, as well as my Sciatica, was great, his treatment of my feet was especially notable. Many masseuse do a quick once-over, but after he was done with them they felt amazing. Definitely will be seeing him again!

I am so happy Mike is in Palm Springs now. He has "the touch." My partner and I set up two back to back 90 minute appointments in call to us, something we had not done before and were a little trepidacious about having a stranger in our home. Mike texted just prior to his arrival, was spot-on time and absolutely prepared. He comported himself discreetly and, as a guest in our home, was hugely respectful, solicitous and gracious. He set up quickly and competently. I was concerned he would get tired after an hour or so, but instead seemed to pick up steam! This is one very strong man, but he intuitively knows how to moderate pressure. His bodywork included long, smooth strokes on my back, and more penetrating and focused kneading on my spine, the base of my neck, and my shoulders. There is a stretch he does with arms that is out of this world. Definitely to be repeated!

The whole experience, from my initial contact with Mike, through to the end of the massage itself, was totally amazing. This guy is professional and extremely skilled. By virtue of his quick response to my inquiry I was able to set up a same-day appointment. The location was surprisingly central, easy building access, great atmosphere and ambiance inside his private studio including a professional, heated and very comfortable massage table, heated oils, and moist heated towels.
He asked questions as to my reason for seeking massage, questions about firmness, any injuries - all that stuff. I felt like I was in the hands of someone who not only knew his stuff, but was genuinely interested in me as a client.
The massage itself was an awesome experience to say the least, and I'd like to turn this into as much of a habit as my budget can afford.

He could not be more accommodating and gracious. Tehnically he knows what he is doing and is clearly very experienced as a professional massage therapist. He has a very soothing and awesome touch that immediately puts you at ease while at the same time working your problem areas to maximum effect with the appropriate pressure. He is also incredibely friendly and sweet -- you will be very happy to have chosen him for a session. I'll be back.

Mike was prompt, polite and professional in returning my inquiry. He greeted me immediately at the door with a warm smile and firm handshake. His place is private and quiet, clean and inviting. His sound system is amazing! We sat for a couple of moments to share some cool water while he went over any injuries or limitations, concerns or questions I might have. This really put me at ease. The massage was great with just the right amount of pressure. While he checks in during the session, he doesn't talk your ear off, instead lettes me float off into the music. I have seen Mike a number of times and each time I wonder why I waited so long.
