Overview
I offer a personalized Swedish-based massage with long repetitive strokes, increasing the pressure with each stroke. Stretching is included in the massage. We discuss your needs/ preferences before we begin.
Massages given in Richmond, CA with CoVid 19 precautions in place, HEPA filter in studio. I use hand sanitizer, touch-less thermometer, disinfectant wipes, table and cradle moisture guard, Fully Pfizer vaccinated: 2021 + 2022 Omicron booster 5/3/2023, new booster 10/5/2023.MPX 8/19/2022, 2nd 9/14

I reached out to Richard just before a planned visit to San Francisco and scheduled a massage. After two hours on his table, I felt as though I had been taken apart and put back together, minus the tension and stress. Friendly, funny, intuitive, patient and thorough, he lives up to his title as a ‘Gentle Giant.’ My one regret is that he’s not based back east, so for anyone local to the Bay Area, I highly recommend! I will be seeing him again when I return to SF.

A great experience at the hands of Richard during my massage. His professionalism and technique was absolutely the best I have received. He is truly an expert in his field and I would recommend him to anyone looking to have less aches in life. Richard was very accommodating in my appointment time and we discussed my needs fully and he met all of my expectations. This is one fine gentleman and I left feeling on top of the world. Give him a try.

Right off the bat, Richard was very accommodating with the date and time I requested for my massage. At the last minute I asked to move the appointment up a bit earlier and he was flexible with the change. A quick ride on the BART and he's there to pick you up. He's got strong hands that kneaded through some tough knots on my back and tight plantar fasciitis tissue. But he adjusts the pressure as needed to help you relax overall. The experience was very pleasant. Richard is a warm person and clearly a talented masseuse who will work with you to help you feel better before you get up from his table. Definitely recommend.
